I cannot praise Eddie and his team enough. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic. My family (including a 17, 14 and an 11 year old) had an adventure of a life time. From the jungle treks, elephant experience, orangotan spotting, caves, off road motorbike ride and river tubing everything was organised really well and we always felt safe and well cared for. It was inspirational to see how Eddie is inspiring a new generation to care for their wildlife and change the engrained attitudes of the past. I would strongly recommend this trip and particularly Sumatra Adventure Holidays for a family experience that you will never forget!

Jaka,Jimmy,Bima and Ridoh have made our jungle trek a unique experience. We were greeted very friendly and accommodated in a beautiful inn overlooking Gunung Leuser National Park. The boys took care of all our concerns at all times. The trek with Jimmy and Bima was also a unique experience. We have seen a variety of animals including some orangutans, black and white gibbons, the argus bird and many more. After an overnight stay in the jungle we went back to the village via white water rafting. Food during the trek was also well taken care of. Very happy to come back! I can highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to make something unique out of their Indonesia trip.

We did a 3 days trip with Jouri, a really nice guy from sumatranadventure.com He and his team cared us a lot. Sweating was forgotten completely when they found the big orange in the mountains. So great! Unique impressions just 5 feet away from the male orang. Meals and everything were typically indonesian and right enough. Very informed and explaining guides! The camp could be a little bit more comfortable but there is nothing to complain. Who wants a real dschungle adventure - do this! Thanks to the guys, whose do a lot of hard work to satisfy their guests!

Sue made sure we had everything organized and ready to go, paying attention to details. We had to cut short our trip by one day and she easily accommodated our needs while not leaving out anything important. The things we didn't get to see/do were only due to holidays. Otherwise the trekking, places we stayed and events in which we participated were first class. We spotted some orang utans on one hike and traveled on some brutal trails by motorbike. All part of the excitement of being in Malaysia! Including the elephant washing was the most exciting and most priceless experience of all.

We specifically asked to try and do 6 days in 4 days... Amazing trek even though we changed planned route halfway (we weren't going to make second base on day 2 at our city boy pace) This made it even more epic as we were hacking through untrodden paths and Jakka and his team made us feel at ease and taught us about the jungle as we went. Each base camp was amazing. All beautiful Jurassic scenes. Lot's of wildlife including 4 different types on monkey. We will be back to attempt the 6 day (after a bit more training) Sue was very helpful in organising the Trek too. Only moan would be the guest house on last night. Beautiful settings and nice place, but no hot water for shower, which is the only thing we needed on the last night... :)

Amazing 3 night trek including mountain and river trekking with extremely experienced, well organised and educational guides ended by tubing down the river back to Bukit Lawang. Spotted lots of wildlife including 6 species of monkey, snakes, turtles, lizards and many Orangutans. Highly recommended.
