We booked the 4-day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu through Eco Tour Cusco. The execution of the tour was carried out by the agency Extreme Tourbulencia. The communication and organization in advance with Eco Tour Cusco were really great. All staff members were very friendly, helpful, and responded quickly to our questions. Everything mostly worked well on-site as well. The Inca Trail itself was simply impressive. The landscape is incredibly diverse and beautiful. The organization on the trail was also top-notch. Our guide was fantastic and made the tour special with his knowledge and good mood. A big shout-out also goes to the porters and the entire team from Extreme Tourbulencia. They took excellent care of us, transported the equipment, and prepared delicious meals for us every day. The food was definitely another highlight of the tour. The only criticism was the group size. We had 15 participants, which sometimes led to longer wait times. Additionally, the coordination between Eco Tour Cusco and Extreme Tourbulencia did not always seem to run smoothly. In the end, everything worked out, and we did not encounter any major problems because of it. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would recommend Eco Tour Cusco at any time.
Thank you for such a detailed review. We're really glad the trail itself, the guide, and the food stood out as highlights, and that communication with our team felt easy from the start. While we operate the vast majority of our tours ourselves, for some treks like this one we work with carefully selected partner agencies, in this case Extreme Tourbulencia, to make sure our clients always receive quality service that meets our own standards and what we promise our travelers. We're taking note of your feedback on coordination during the trail, and we'll work on improving that going forward. Thank you for recommending Eco Tour Cusco despite the bumps.
The most amazingly unforgettable trip! Fantastic guides who were knowledgeable and motivational. The food on the trip was exceptionally good. As a result our group had great fun and the most life affirming time. Thank you so much to Klever, Sharon and Julio!
Thank you so much for such an uplifting comment! We’re thrilled to hear that Klever, Sharon and Julio inspired your group—and that the food was a highlight, too. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with the whole trek team. We are always ready if you decide to come back for more adventures. Warm regards from all of us at Eco Tour Cusco.
As for the tour, everything I loved, only the weather didn't help much but nevertheless it was enjoyed. The agency was quite professional in having details, they always kept in touch and were very attentive
Everything was very coordinated, the staff very friendly and punctual, we took amazing photos. The celebration of our Silver Weddings was unforgettable!!
A few years ago I started watching documentaries about Peru, mainly about Machu Picchu and then coordinated my trip with Eco Tours. In this way I set out on my journey through the Peruvian lands, when I arrived in Cuzco I was amazed with the city full of squares, cathedrals, archaeological sites, the delicious food and nightlife, this was just the beginning. In the following days I went to the town of Aguas Calientes. There began my great adventure, I took the bus very early and when I arrived at the site I was charmed by the mountains, the river, the landscape and the ruins of the ancient Inca people. Seeing the citadel is magical, all your senses are activated, it is how to move to the past and see the intelligence and mastery of the Inca empire. I was impressed to see so much beauty. My dream come true. However, I had yet to see another wonder and it is the Humantay Lagoon, the trip was incredible: hiking, charming landscapes, glaciers, condors and the turquoise waters that change color depending on the exposure of the sun. OMG. I visited Peru through Machu Picchu but ended up meeting other wonders. Nice memories left of this trip.
Excellent experience! High impact, physical preparation and appropriate technical clothing are needed! With qualified guides and everything designed for the best experience!
It was amazing! Such a great experience and our tour guide was kind, helpful and very informative. You could tell her was passionate about teaching us
It's undoubtedly the best agency in Cusco. I was traveling alone and couldn't have felt safer. Since the first contact I made and having arrived at the agency after the end of the expedition I was super well served by Natali. I had lost my credit card and had not made the exchange, but Natali assembled all the tours, including train tickets to Machu Picchu the next day, sacred valley, colorful mountain, city tour and tour to Maras & Moray. And most importantly, it didn’t calm down until a colleague q was no longer working sent a link to pay by PayPal. Always very attentive Natali was all the time checking if everything was going well. The punctuality, the quality of the guides César, Joana, Inácio, with special emphasis on Richard (Machu Picchu) and Raul (colored mountain), should be scored. I chose to do the tours in English or Spanish. I need to highlight the attention of the employees Luis Alonso and Victoria. The vans are new and the restaurants for the meals were also of good quality. Finally, I was accompanied by Natali and Señorita Victoria to the airport, the Enterprise also did my translation. Thanks for everything Eco Tour. You're the best!
Atentamente, Lida Huallpamaita.
