Connu pour sa belle architecture, le Fort de Mehrangarh est l’un des plus grands forts d’Inde. Construit vers 1460 par Rao Jodha, un an après l’origine de l’origine de Jodhpur. Construit en 1899, le cénotaphe royal du maharaja Jaswant Singh II (souverain de Jodhpur, 33ème Rathore). Construit à partir de feuilles de marbre finement sculptées, il est souvent appelé «Le Taj Mahal de Marwar». Le parc Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park a été créé en 2006 pour restaurer l’écologie naturelle d’une vaste friche rocheuse de 70 hectares près du Fort de Mehrangarh, après des années de négligence. La zone dans et autour du parc contient des formations de roche volcanique et de grès distinctives. Situé sur la colline de Chittar, la construction du palais UmaidBhawan a pris 14 ans et 2000 à 3000 personnes ont été embauchées pour le construire. Ce palais a été construit à l’origine pour aider les agriculteurs en les employant pendant une période de sécheresse et de famine de trois années consécutives au cours des années 1920. Le roi Umaid Singh a chargé un architecte britannique, Henry V. Lanchester, de concevoir le palais en grès jaune doré. Doté d’un style architectural «indo-déco», il a utilisé un extraordinaire mélange de technologie occidentale et de caractéristiques architecturales indiennes. Juste à l'extérieur de la vieille ville de Jodhpur, vous trouverez un marché artisanal où vous pourrez également passer du temps à profiter de l'école de peinture. The driver pickup from hotel with guided tour we enjoyed the visits of jodhpur local market and the Jaswant thada as wel Mehrangarh and the driver Nature is very good ,he also helped us to get the best Street food to , Highly recommended the cab service they provided is very excellent and as well very affordable
Blossoming Jodhpur Trip In the month January 2023, we had a unforgettable and enjoyable family trip to Jodhpur. We had visited Mehangar Fort, Jaswant Tada, Mandore garden, blue city, important temples, desert safari with grand gala dinner, zip line adventure, rajasthani food exploration and many more... Whole trip plan, site seeing in time with complete exploration of that place from day 1 to day 4 was planned, executed and supported by Mr. Pappu Singh. He is committed and care-taking tour and travel planner. I have waited to give this feedback since I want to test whether this experience is volatile or memorable for lifetime. We are lucky that we got the contact of Mr Pappu…he knows everything about jodhpur and also more importantly how to behave…we got Mr. Manish as our sarathi, he is fantastic guy, great temperament and always approach with a smile…he knows the history of the monuments, and also guide you to the right direction, whether to take a guide or not, where to lunch. They are the best in this business. So don’t think twice and contact them for a good tour as you can’t take the place with you but the memories. And we are taking a good one.
