Great Food Tour of Austin Downtown. Our guide was very personable and she had amazing energy. We visited several restaurant and had more than adequate portions. The food choices were varied and relevant to the area. The tour was a full 3 hours. The tour works well for a single traveler, couples and families.

Alexis was an amazing tour guide. Accommodated specific dietary needs, treated us to a lot of amazing food especially Cooper’s BBQ. Our food stops were incredible. Very tasty and the history of the city was very good too.

Good experience overall. Our guide was late by 30 minutes. She said she had a personal emergency. Completely understandable and no worries. She was a bit over the top. Could tone things down a bit and still be a great guide. Loved Alexis just almost too much Alexis. Would have enjoyed a bit more focus on an overview of Austin, culture and history. We’ve been on a few Secret food tours worldwide

Our Tour Guide Alexis was so amazing so bubbly and down to earth and a wonderful person the experience was incredible it was my first one I was very impressed. Admission fee was a little high but for what you get it’s well worth it it, we did only half the tour because I mom has MS and our Tour guide was very accommodating to us and tried to find all shorter routes and even put in and asked her manger if could get a share ride. But over all the whole visit was amazing and the food was out of this world! And hey I tried something I never thought I would a faffle, it was good! If you book one of these tours I hope get Alexis she is so amazing

Guide was great, very knowledgeable and passionate about Austin and the local food scene. Walking was not strenuous, but there are some stairs to navigate.

A good mix of bbq and Tex mex food samples. I thought the stops could have been ordered differently. Our tour met at 11;00am. IMHO the breakfast burrito stop should have been the first stop with the bbq later. Our tour guide was a local with a good knowledge of the city. The tours covered several mostly flat city blocks and was an easy walk.
