C'est notre point de départ, au cas où vous n'auriez pas choisi l'option de prise en charge à l'hôtel. Le plus grand stade de l'époque romaine, dont seuls quelques vestiges sont visibles aujourd'hui
Peu après le début de la Via Appia Antica, nous rencontrerons le tombeau des Scipioni, peut-être la famille romaine la plus ancienne et la plus prestigieuse.
En parcourant en voiture le long de ce que l'on appelle la "promenade archéologique", nous rencontrerons sur la droite l'énorme complexe des Thermes de Caracalla.
Après avoir passé les Thermes de Caracalla, commence la Via Appia Antica, la voie romaine la plus célèbre
Après avoir passé le tombeau des Scipions, nous passerons sous l'arc de Drusus, un imposant monument de l'époque romaine.
(FACULTATIF) Une fois arrivés aux catacombes, nous serons accueillis par une nature luxuriante et inattendue, des oliviers, des routes bordées de cyprès et des prairies verdoyantes, on se croirait en Toscane ! Ici, si vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez visiter l'intérieur des Catacombes. La visite dure environ 45 minutes et est guidée par des guides du Vatican. Elle se fait en petits groupes. Le prix du billet est inclus dans le prix si vous choisissez l'option de visite des catacombes.
Après avoir vu l'empreinte de Jésus à l'intérieur de Saint-Sébastien, nous visiterons cette église emblématique, qui abrite une précieuse copie de l'empreinte de Jésus.
Le symbole de la Via Appia Antica, son monument le plus important et le plus majestueux. D'abord mausolée, puis transformé par la famille Caetani en Castrum. La visite de l'extérieur est prévue, toute personne qui le souhaite peut entrer indépendamment pour visiter le mausolée, moyennant paiement du billet.
Quelques mètres après l'arc de Drusus, nous trouvons l'une des portes d'accès les plus célèbres de Rome, une partie de l'imposant mur d'Aurélien, que nous pouvons admirer ici dans l'une des plus belles parties.
Basilique romaine importante, l'une des sept que les pèlerins visitent traditionnellement pendant le Jubilé. Construite au-dessus des catacombes de San Sebastiano, elle abrite la dernière sculpture créée par Bernini
Le Parco degli Acquedotti préserve certains des aqueducs romains antiques les plus impressionnants, notamment les arches monumentales de l'Aqua Claudia et de l'Aqua Felix.

We have been to Rome many times and were looking for something different. This tour fully met our expectations, and we especially loved the Parco degli Acquedotti. Andrea is a very attentive and friendly host. He took great care of us throughout the entire tour.
We really loved it! It was a perfect mix of riding in a Fiat 500, discovering some history, and chatting with Andrea, an excellent driver, a great photographer, and a true Roman. The funniest moment was squeezing through the narrow streets of Rome, the Fiat 500 is as agile as a scooter!
One of the few tours that includes a visit to the Aqueduct Park. Andrea shared lots of fascinating stories and is a fantastic communicator. A real highlight was taking some beautiful photos and getting the chance to ride in his 1960s Fiat 500, people couldn’t help but smile when they saw it!
An unforgettable experience in the catacombs of catacombs of Saint Domitilla! The tour was excellently organised and the professional photos are simply impressive – a wonderful reminder of this special place. Especially charming was the ride there in a beautiful Fiat 500 – a real gem from 1966 that made the tour even more authentic. We often come to Rome and wanted something different. The aqueduct park did not disappoint us! We also recommend the catacombs, we preferred to visit those of San Sebastiano, and Andrea was very flexible. Everything was done with punctuality, attention to detail and friendliness!

Just outside the city of Rome is a beautiful place, the Appian Way Park, which contains mysterious catacombs, sections of ancient Roman roads, and churches holding unique treasures, all without the typical crowds of the city center.
