Votre voyage commence dans la pittoresque Positano, une ville nichée entre les collines et la mer cristalline de la côte amalfitaine. Ici, vous pourrez admirer la vue depuis la montagne environnante et flâner dans les ruelles du centre historique parsemées de boutiques de mode et d'artisanat local. Goûtez à la cuisine locale, célèbre pour ses plats de poisson frais et ses légumes méditerranéens. Ensuite, votre visite vous mènera à la raffinée Sorrente, la perle de la péninsule de Sorrente. Visitez le centre historique et découvrez ses trésors cachés, tels que la cathédrale de Sorrente, les églises baroques et le suggestif cloître de San Francesco. N'oubliez pas de goûter le limoncello, une liqueur locale à base de citrons locaux. Enfin, votre visite vous emmènera à la découverte de Pompéi, l'ancienne ville enterrée par le Vésuve en 79 après JC. Meta di Sorrento est une halte pittoresque idéale pour admirer la beauté de la péninsule de Sorrente. Du haut de ses 111 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer, il offre des vues spectaculaires sur Capri, Sorrente et la côte amalfitaine, avec des panoramas allant de la mer turquoise aux collines verdoyantes environnantes. Le point de vue panoramique permet de saisir l'essence du paysage côtier en un seul coup d'œil, avec ses plages dorées, ses falaises et ses collines qui descendent en pente douce vers la mer. Un arrêt photo court mais incontournable sur la route de Sorrente.
Les îles Li Galli forment un tout petit archipel entre Capri et Positano, l'un des endroits les plus évocateurs non seulement de Campanie, mais de toute la Méditerranée. L'archipel est formé de trois îles, Gallo Lungo, La Rotonda et La Castelluccia, et ensemble elles forment une zone marine protégée extrêmement suggestive.
Positano est peut-être un endroit unique au monde ! C'est un joyau d'architecture spontanée, posé sur le rocher surplombant la mer. Des grappes de maisons colorées, parfois à l'allure cubique, sont construites sur des marches souvent très raides, qui descendent vers la plage, reliées par des ruelles et de longs escaliers.
La légende raconte que les sirènes mythiques vivaient dans sa mer et tentaient Ulysse avec un chant mélodieux. Et encore aujourd'hui en allant sur cette mer - aux reflets bleus et verts, dans mille nuances différentes selon le jeu du soleil - on peut imaginer que les Sirènes émergent des flots - belles et persuasives. Mais peut-être que Sorrento est une sirène qui captive et envoûte avec les parfums de citronniers et d'orangers, avec des oliviers aux troncs sombres tordus et aux feuilles argentées qui bougent lentement, avec un léger bruit, dans le vent qui vient de la mer, avec des rochers nés de la furie lointaine d'un volcan.
Pompéi est une ville de Campanie, située dans le golfe de Naples et sur les pentes du volcan Vésuve. C'est une ville aux origines très anciennes : elle est née comme une colonie osque, a ensuite été habitée par les Samnites puis, à partir du premier siècle avant JC, conquise par les Romains. Ville ensevelie par l'éruption du Vésuve. Aujourd'hui, elle est connue comme la ville où se trouve l'un des sites archéologiques les plus importants au monde. La ville romaine a en effet été ensevelie sous la lave suite à l'éruption du Vésuve en 79 après JC. La lave et la cendre ont été une sorte de couverture qui a permis à la ville de se maintenir au fil des siècles et de se protéger des intempéries ; pour cette raison, la ville est restée intacte et peut être visitée aujourd'hui. Remarque : le temps restant correspond au trajet aller-retour et au temps entre les attractions.

This was a lovely tour of Sorrento, Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. Paolo was our driver and was very professional and affable. He gave us time to allow us to explore the shops in Positano, but was also considerate that we needed to avoid spending too much time so that we did not miss out on seeing Pompeii. This was about an 8 hour excursion and we needed this time - Pompeii is an expansive site, it is important to give yourself time to see this adequately. An additional entrance fee to the archaeological site will need to be paid (about 20 Euros). We had the pleasure of been driven in a comfortable vehicle and a driver that is very knowledgeable of Naples. During the Pompeii tour we were given headphones to listen to an expert tour guide as we followed her through the labyrinth streets and corridors of this historical site. A splendid tour that has sparked our desire to revisit Naples, thanks to Paolo!
