Carlos and Eddie took amazing care of us during this excursion! The walk was quick from the Carnival cruise port to the 7/11 to meetup with Carlos. We then meandered through the main streets a bit to reach the home base. You will need to pay the El Cedral fee there along with supplying your driver’s license number and to get wristbands. We then took two cars for our group of 7 plus two guides to the tabs in El Cedral. The arcs are perfect for someone new or for intermediate drivers. We did some roads and trails. It rained heavily the morning of which made it especially fun! The guides made sure we were all good to go. The Cenote visit was absolutely beautiful! Our groups had a ton of fun jumping off of the cliff a few times each. We also got to see the bats and turtles that live in the cave. There is a restroom at the cenote also. We then had some more atv fun back to where we started the atv tour. After that, we were taken to a local place for tequila tasting with Jimmy. He was charismatic and excellent. If you don’t want to do the tequila tasting, let you guides know ahead of time, because it is a tasting and a sales opportunity. The tequila is great quality, and we brought several bottles home. We then went to Playa Uvas beach club for fajitas as the included lunch - either beef or chicken. They also have a great selection of drinks both alcoholic and non. There are restrooms and included loungers. The beach is not sandy here which is actually great, because the wildlife is more abundant for the included snorkeling or just walking the rocks to see hermit crabs, sea urchins, and other sea life in the little crevices. Snorkeling here is very good and you can see plenty of fish right by the stairs entry to the ocean. 100% recommend this excursion especially for cruisers! They were very aware and considerate of what time we needed to be back and providing an excellent time!
Awesome great people will do it again Diego was great
Thank you so much! 😊 We’re glad you had an awesome time—Diego will be happy to hear it! 🌴✨ We’d love to have you back again!
Great time, great company. Reyes was the best. The ride is pretty bumpy in some places, rocks and roots, which is expected. Just wanted folks to be aware of that!
Thank you for your review! We’re glad you had a great time and appreciate the heads-up for future guests. We hope to welcome you again soon!
The ATV ride to the cenotes was great. Danny, our guide was wonderful. Make sure you jump from the ledge, its awesome. I am a 56 year old woman and it was a fun and easy trip!
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the ATV ride and that Danny made the tour even better. Glad you had fun at the cenote jump — it’s definitely a memorable moment!
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS TOUR. If you're hoping to see the cenotes, this tour is NOT the way to go. My boyfriend and I were greeted by a tour guide at the cruise ship port and driven to the ATV area, which all went smoothly. However, once we arrived, there was little to no explanation on how to operate the ATVs, no prior warning on how much dust and sand would get in our eyes, and no instruction on how to drive on such bumpy and pot-holed roads. Our guide took off without us, and I was practically clinging to my boyfriend for dear life as he raced to keep up with our guide over sandy and poorly paved roads. Our ATV's tires got stuck on the side of a pot hole, and the whole vehicle flipped, throwing me off the back and leaving my boyfriend underneath the ATV. He was scraped up, and I briefly fainted. From the sheer force of flying into the stone wall next to the path, I felt concussed, and my tailbone and hip hurt very badly. The guide continued on without us, and came back a couple minutes later to find us by the side of the road with a broken ATV. We had to pay for the ATV repairs and were not awarded a refund. The guide offered to call an ambulance or continue on with the rest of the tour, but we simply wanted to go home and get out of such a sketchy environment. All in all, we're very shaken up after this experience and wish we'd never booked this trip. If you're signing up for this trip, you better hope you can REALLY drive an ATV or pay a medical bill for any post-crash injuries.
Sorry to hear that and we willl continue improving our protocols that we have and have been working for more than 15 years.
Great time. You want to go fast on an ATV this is it. Everything was organized and we got a free meal. Awesome experience 10/10
Thank you very much for your review. Glad that you enjoy your day at Cozumel. Hope to see you soon in one of our activities.
Our tour guide was awesome (Luis). He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a large group but he was very communicative the entire tour. We had a couple ATV’s have some issues but I think that was the people riding the ATV that didn’t know how to work it lol. We rode the ATV by the beach. They did close the jade caverns the day we went but they had another solution for us. Our guide said it was a better place to visit anyways and it definitely was. It was so beautiful and clean. This was definitely my favorite day on my whole trip. The snorkeling at the beach was sooooo beautiful and the water was amazing.
Thay you so much for your review. The tour that we offer (Atv to Mezcalitos & Cenote Combo) is really an excellent option. Glad you enjoy. Hope to see you soon in one of our activities. Saludos!
Not. Jade caverns new place just opened and lunch was terrible guide was very good until end left us at lunch and went back with other driver.
Thank you for letting us know your concerns. I´m so sorry to hear that you didn´t enjoy the activity. We will continue to improve to make it a pleasant experience. Regards
It was a great trip with an amazing guide! Very fun to go ATV riding on some empty roads. The snorkelling part was quite short and the guide didn’t take us back to the drop-off spot as stated in the description. We were left at the resort to snorkel and had to pay for a taxi to take us back because they said they were overbooked and had to go on their next tour.
Thank you for your review. Glad to hear your experience, and I will double check what happened with the transportation. Regards Javier
I didn’t enjoy. We went around in a circle over horrible roads filled with potholes. It was not a fun experience for me or my 16 year old. Our body was in pain for days afterwards. In addition to paying $30 to be in the “forest” a circle. We didn’t see anything on the island just dust and potholes. Plus the ATV’s were extremely old.
Really sorry to hear that. We will continue to improve in every way possible to offer pleasant experiences to all who visit us. Regards
