Well organised trip with swim stops and visits to Vathi and Kioni for lunch and a walk round. Very picturesque.

The trip by boat was planned very well in all its details... We loved the stops for swimming in two wonderful beaches of Ithaka... We also had time for shopping in the chic boutiques of Vathi and Koni. The boat crew was really kind and professional and the boat comfortable... We do suggest this excursion!

Highlights for me were the swim stops. Loved getting into the beautiful sea for a swim. Visiting the towns of Vathy & Kioni was lovely, but there just isn’t time to do much more than finding somewhere nice to sit for a meal or a drink. If you really want to explore Ithaca, you should spend several days on the island. It’s a fun day of sailing & swimming. Great crew, informative & friendly.

The trip was well organised and friendly. KefaloniaExcursions staff (Sophie - brilliant) were helpful and kept us informed of everything we needed to know. Everyone took the covid19 precautions really seriously. We had a split party and they kindly arranged pick up and drop off for one of our party. It was a no stress tour with a brilliant agenda and timings were just right. We all had an amazing time. Thank you!!

We booked this through Trip Advisor before leaving the UK and didn't know name of company, it was just called 'Cruise to Ithica'. Our confirmation included a phone number and the place of departure, stated at Skala although no time given for us to arrive. When we arrived in Kefalonia I asked hotel reception if they would ring number to let us know what time we should be in Skala. It turned out that we needed to be in Poros, not Skala-informed by email after two phone calls. There were two boats on the day we went out with this boat tour (which is Valsamis cruises). We were on the smaller boat. My sons sat downstairs inside and they ended up trapped in a seating area with choking fumes as the carpet was taken up during the trip due as the crew tried to mend a broken engine. Half way through we were all piled onto the bigger boat as ours had lost power and couldn't make final stop of tour so boat in limp mode was taken back to Poros empty. The places visited were great but the boat was a disaster. My advice is book a boat when you get to Kefalonia so you know what you are getting and what the arrangements are and make sure the reviews are good.

The departure location & time of the Ithaca Cruise was sent you the day before as we do with all our guest with a confirmation voucher stating the exact pickup point and time. The confirmation voucher was sent to you the previous day of the tour at 10:30 AM. The day of the cruise we were informed by our supplier of the technical issues of the boat which our supplier tried its best not to cancel the cruise and ensure the safety of all passengers. As for the mechanical problem that occurred during the cruise, it was an emergency situation that the supplier of the cruise and the crew tried to solve as painless as they could. The supplier couldn’t cancel the cruise because there were many customers that couldn’t transfer it for another day and decided to empty one boat and transfer the customers to another bigger boat and continue the trip always assuring the safety of the customers first. It was a problem that occurred during the trip and had to be solved. We understand your disappointment but we as a company always try to do our best to find the best solution in order to deal with emergency situations. We appreciate your review and we hope the next time you will enjoy our tour.
Very well organized, fun cruise from Kefalonia to Ithaca. The two swim stop locations are amazing. We would have loved a bit more time in Vathy, the capital, but otherwise we had a great time. Great way to spend the day!
