Our Atlanta Highlights Tour with Francesca was a complete blast. She was super knowledge about all the ATL neighborhoods, threw in great factoids regarding its history, and gave us great ‘true locals only recommendations’ about top spots to eat, great live music venues, where to find art exhibits, and MUCH MORE. It makes us happy to have been able to get to know a new city on the ‘ground level’ with some honesty and a true perspective from a local and not the boring corporate commercial stuff trying to just get into your wallet. Honestly, this tour made my experience in Atlanta so great that I can’t wait to get back to Georgia. I recommend this tour 100% for anyone who wants to see the real stuff.
Informative, educational and FUN! Dan did a great job and the tour exceeded all expectations. We have lived in Atlanta for forty years and have seen a lot of the area. Dan took us to parts of the city we have not visited. It was great to finally have point of reference when I hear locations mentioned on the News or on the local traffic reports.
Thank you so much for choosing DTours!
If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Atlanta, look no further than Gregg Foxx with D'Tours! From the moment we met him, it was clear that we were in for a treat. Gregg is not just a tour guide; he’s a master storyteller, a history buff, and a genuine Atlanta enthusiast. Engaging & Fun Gregg's energy is infectious! He has a knack for turning every stop into a captivating narrative. As we strolled through the vibrant streets of Atlanta, he shared fun and quirky facts that kept us all engaged. Gregg brought historical facts and movie shoot stories to life with his passion and charisma. Hidden Gems While he showcased iconic landmarks like the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park, Gregg also took us off the beaten path. We discovered charming neighborhoods, local art installations, and delicious eateries that we would have never found on our own. A Must-Do Experience If you're planning a trip to Atlanta, booking a tour with D'Tour is an absolute must. Their enthusiasm, knowledge, and genuine love for the city shine through every moment of the tour. You won’t just see Atlanta; you’ll experience it in an educational and entertaining way. Thank you, Gregg, for an incredible adventure! And to Danette for all the planning and organization from the very beginning! I can’t wait to return and explore more of Atlanta with you.
Wow! Thank you so much for such an amazing review and for choosing DTours! It was our pleasure to show you the city.
We had a private two day tour with Julio. We saw street art, drove through various historical suburbs, walked the Beltline and visited the urban regeneration projects of Ponce City Market and Krog Market. We also went to the Martin Luther King Jnr street and centre, paid homage to Jimmy Carter at the Carter Centre, and visited the Margaret Mitchell House (well worth it), the Atlanta History Museum (inc Cyclorama) and the High Museum. Julio was flexible and accommodating of our choices, as well as being informative and helpful. We left with a good knowledge of Atlanta history past and present. A great two days.
Thank you so much for choosing DTours!
One of the best experiences we had while visiting this historic city. The Atlanta tour is a must do. We had a wonderful tour guide in Francesca who knew all the best sightseeing spots. Plus, she was very knowledgeable regarding the "movie business" that is an integral pert of Atlanta (think Walking Dead). Great job, Francesca! Thank you for making our stay even better!!
Thank you for your wonderful review and for choosing DTours!
Best tour to do for a first visit to the city when pressed for time. Dan was very good in communicating before & after the tour (had to get recommendation for restaurant near hotel). He went above & beyond by looking for a vehicle that would accommodate a big group instead of splitting us in separate cars like what other tour companies advised me. He was a safe driver, articulate, pleasant, very patient & highly knowledgeable. I would request him specifically if I’d be back in Atlanta for another tour.
Chris was fantastic as a tour guide. We learned a ton and had a great time doing it! Was comprehensive and customized. Would def do it again.
We are grateful for your review. Thank you for choosing DTours!
Our guide, Gena, was fantastic! Knowledgeable, personable and totally engaging, she gave us a terrific overview of Atlanta - just what we were hoping for! I highly recommend her to anyone who is interested in history as well as present day Atlanta.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for choosing DTours!
Our guide Chris was absolutely the best!! He was very knowledgeable and fulfilled all of our request on our private tour! Thank you Chris!
Thank you so much for your feedback and five star review! We're so glad you had a great experience with Chris.
Everything about this was a winner for my wife, son and myself. Great customer service in advance of our visit -- answering questions, working with us, flexible. D Tours Dan picked us up at our hotel right on time, customized our tour for us -- and dropped us off at a restaurant at the end of the tour (as we arranged ahead of time) for dinner. We had a three-hour, customized, information-packed Uber to our destination. We stopped in to visit Georgia Tech -- but had never been to Atlanta, so we wanted to get the overview of the whole city. D Tours didn't disappoint. We got the whole history of the city, the massive impact of the Olympics, some hidden gems, how the city has changed and continues to change, different neighborhoods, a stop at MLK's church and tomb, multiple TV/movie locations, and more. Context, highlights, background, specifics ... packed with information. And all adjusted for our needs AND for an Atlanta Falcons game that was taking place that afternoon, so we needed to change the routine to avoid traffic nightmares. Great tour - recommended.
Thank you for such a glowing review of Dan and your Atlanta tour! We loved getting to introduce Atlanta to your family!
