Awful service. Waited over an hour for a bus that failed to turn up! The other 2 companies have far more buses and a reliable service. I would advise to steer well clear of Grayline in Athens.
We really enjoyed this tour. The bus ride was informative and the historical sight was beautiful. Peaceful, not crowded. Enjoyed glass of wine at cafe as the sun set behind the temple.
The tour is coupled with a Hop-on-Hop-off ticket, but there weren’t any maps provided to show where the bus stops are. We were told that when we found a stop, just ask for a map then. This made the Hop-on-hop-off part of the fee useless. Also, the narration while on the bus trip to the sunset location, was of low quality and did not enhance the trip. My headset only worked when the guide spoke but not when the pre-recorded narration was playing. I would not book this experience again.
First time ride the city of Athens by bus. Was lovely. We travel 3 directions Athens, Pireus, Riviera. Kind staff the drivers also very kind helpfull. The bus inside perfect. Clean. Price good. Only many circles the same the same streets in the city west our time.
1 out of 100 absolutely shocking. You have to wait and change so many times to get to the lakes and when you get there they drop you in the middle of nowhere so n a busy main road with no path one side
Great way to see Athens in one day! The hop-on hop-off bus made exploring the city easy, and the Cape Sounion sunset was simply breathtaking. Everything was well organised and the timing worked perfectly. Highly recommend this combo tour
Had an amazing experience, nikos from the office was very helpful. Had a question about a tour, and he helped me resolve the issue i faced.
Our guide Georges and driver Thanos did a great job. Ticket checking needs to be more efficient so as not to keep customers standing in the very hot afternoon sun please..... a coding system perhaps? In depth explanation of the significance of sights and the accompanying mythology given without feeling like a lecture.....A long drive but plenty of free time to explore the Temple of Poseidon. Large modern restaurant with great views. Overpriced and very slow service. The food was delicious. The wait staff did a fantastic job and worked extremely hard with a full venue of around 200 people. The head waiter, who took the orders, needs to go to charm school for some lessons in hospitality. Rude to the point of belligerence. Only 3 toilets provided for women and not one of them with a hook on the door to hang your bag so you don't have to put it on a urine coated floor...... NEEDS MORE TOILETS. Apart from that it was a great evening out and rated the 4 stars given.
It’s a long drive out there and I’m not 100% sure it’s worth it. All the staff were incredible lovely. Good driver, getting on the coach had a lovely women at the stop helping to greet and organize, the tour guide was absolutely lovely. However 2 hours there and 2.5 hours back for two hours on site wasn’t worth it. The cost is 20 euros/pp to get in was more expensive than I thought. We got some food to eat as we were hungry so that was personal choice and another cost. The sunset it’s lovely. The temple is great. Nice pictures. However I wouldn’t bother to recommend the journey out for only that.
Cape sounio and temple of posideon are beautiful at the sunset. The hop on hop off bus is a great and convenient way to do this.
