Very interesting experience. I’m glad I did it but I’m not sure if it’s for everyone. The actors worked hard and it was a good quick recount of the odyssey
The talented 3-person cast brought a well-summarized story of The Odyssey to life. The play was a wonderful end to our visit to Athens. Small theater, creative staging and excellent acting with two of the actors playing multiple roles and pivoting from one character to the next with incredible fluidity. We all thoroughly enjoyed it! Bravo!
I don’t normally leave reviews but this was so worth it. Tickets were very inexpensive and it was an incredible experience for the family. Was not sure what to expect but the 3 actors were so good and truly did an amazing job portraying the story of the Odyssey. One word of caution, call ahead of time as it is NOT at the Athens Living Museum. When you walk out at 9:45, you can see the Acropolis lit up. Highly recommend!
What a treat! If you love a great story, well-told, go see this show! In a mere 75 minutes, these three outstanding actors bring an epic tale to life! Filled with drama, romance, and humor. The staging, props and costumes were simple and so creatively used. It takes a lot of skill to capture an audience’s attention, and this cast did just that. Very entertaining!
Well thought out productuon in an intimate setting. 3 actors play multpile roles with minimal props, but they engage the audience really well. Drink provided on arrival.
What a wonderful experience. I am always interested in doing something most others do not and this time I hit the jackpot! An amazing performance in an intimate setting. A brilliant summation of The Odyssey. A 3 member cast offered a view of this story that was expansive and spot on. The 2 supporting actors played multiple roles seamlessly. Odysseus portrayed the character convincingly allowing us to feel the emotions found in a true Greek drama. A reasonably priced event that was thoroughly enjoyable start to finish. So if you are looking for an activity that most people would not consider, or just looking to do one evening, check this out.
Excellent presentation of the Odyssey story, family friendly, and very engaging. We had some trouble finding as the address wasn't accessible from the Viator bookings page.
A great evening event while in Athens, and would highly recommend. A well condensed telling of the Odyssey in only 1 hour and 15 minutes, and with only three very talented actors in an intimate setting. Lighting, sound effects, and costume changes were impressive and the entire production well done. The small venue means you should probably book tickets in advance and arrive early to get the best seats. Staff was friendly and welcoming, seating was on folding chairs, and the ticket fee was more than fair. I think best for adults, or older (high school aged) kids, as the story may not grab the attention of younger children and thus could impact the experience for others in this small space. We were very entertained and loved the show!
