Au Centre des arts Portugais, Orlando, qui a passé des années à préserver cette forme d'art mourante, vous emmène des origines des Azulejos au Portugal à la façon dont ils ont trouvé une résidence secondaire sur les murs de l'église de Goan, les maisons patrimoniales et les plaques signalétiques. Vous partez avec plus qu'un souvenir; vous repartez avec un morceau peint à la main de cette histoire, faite par vous, sous la direction d'une des rares personnes qui gardent encore cet engin en vie à Goa. Soul travelling gave us an amazing experience with the Fountainhas walk. Our guide, Ms.Adolfina's infectious enthusiasm, passion for her home land and preserving its culture and heritage are commendable. We were picked up on time and the whole walk was a well curated experience with excerpts from history, culture and geography of the beautiful state of Goa. Visits to a Goan house , well preserved over 7 generations and a century old bakery were the highlights. Highly recommend Soul travelling. Keep the going high !!
I had such a wonderful experience on this heritage tour through the Fontainhas district of Panjim. Our guide, Adolfina, was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and thoughtful. She shared Goa’s history in a way that made the neighborhood, its architecture, and its stories truly come alive. She also had a wealth of knowledge about the different shrines throughout Fontainhas and explained their cultural and religious significance beautifully. One of the highlights was visiting a remarkable ancestral home, where the owner personally showed us around and shared the family’s collection of heirlooms, ornaments, cutlery, tableware, tea sets, and other objects passed down through generations. He also showed us the altar inside his home, which was one of the most beautiful and impressive home altars I have ever seen. The visit felt intimate and offered such a meaningful glimpse into the history, faith, and everyday life of a Goan family. We also stopped at a local confectionery and bakery, which was genuinely one of the best bakeries I visited in Goa. Everything about the tour felt carefully curated, personal, and deeply connected to Panjim’s heritage. As a Goan myself, I found the experience especially meaningful. It gave me a much richer understanding of the history and traditions of my own homeland. I would absolutely recommend this tour and would happily book another experience with Soul Travelling. Thank you, Adolfina, for such a memorable introduction to ancestral Goa.

It's was really good and informative
Adolfina Thamm is an exceptional tour ambassador who gave us the perfect introduction to Goa. Her knowledge, warmth, and enthusiasm made the experience both enjoyable and informative. What made it even more memorable was hearing her personal story, which truly felt like the icing on the cake. One suggestion for improvement: children below 10 years of age should ideally not be charged, as this would make the experience more family-friendly.

Adolfina and Vennisa were our trail ambassadors, I could witness their passion and love for Goa, which truly enhanced the entire trail experience. I think soul travelling is doing a great job, goa is truly alot more than it's nightlife and beaches. There are stories and heritage to access and appreciate, which I think alot of us as tourists remain disconnected from. This experience definitely made me see goa in a different light.
