We had a great time. It was both fun and educational. The chocolatier was well informed. We would definitely recommend this activity.
Great experience, very easy, fun and chocolate tastes amazing. You created your own creations with lots of lollies, nuts etc. I would of loved banana lollies that would of been sensational
Vastly overpriced and a complete waste of our time. 10 of us at a table so very squashed. Suited for children under 5 possibly. A glorified mould that you fill with your chosen chocolate from a fountain type thing and then decorate. To be honest the chocolate tasted very cheap too. The hot chocolate making was literally adding cocoa, sugar and powdered milk with water, that incidentally was lukewarm by the time it got to us.
We leaned about making chocolate bars, more like decorating after the chocolate was already prepared. This would be a great class for families with children.
You don't make chocolate, you use their chocolate to make bars. Mine got wet and then broke. They made me 1 replacement bar and made a big deal about replacing the other. It was an ok experience but a bit disappointing - particularly the mediocre customer service.
It was a unique, interesting & fun experience. Eric was very personable & spent time answering our questions & chatting.
Great and unique way to spend an hour and a half whilst in Vienna, especially if you have kids. Our host was really friendly and enthusiastic and patient. There was a really great choice of toppings for the chocolate bars and choice and of chocolate too. Also found the Viator app really easy to use and had no issues with my booking. Would recommend
I would definitely recommend this activity if you have kids from, say, ages 7-17. Each person gets to make three chocolate bars and decorate/enhance them with a variety of ingredients. However, very young children might struggle (and make a terrible mess) when getting the pouring chocolate into the molds. As for it being a "museum," just note that there is a little downstairs area with a few chocolate-y things, but that's about it. That being said, my wife and I had a wonderful time mainly due to our great host, the delightful Anka (sp?). She showed us the process and helped us make candy that we nibbled at and enjoyed during our entire stay in Vienna. She was the highlight of the whole experience. She did say that during the high tourist season, groups can be rather large, which I think would make it even more fun.
Something fun to do on a chilly & rainy day. Fun experience for kids….. we don’t have any with us, but my husband and I are large children who love chocolate! 🤪 It was worth it for the 3 bars of chocolate you get to make and take with you.
The experience was quick and fit in a lot, but did not feel rushed or overwhelming. It was timed and laid out perfectly. Leo was great.
