Bonjour ! Voici Eva de l'Académie Internationale de Tambour Taiko Eva Kestner. Je suis un batteur et instructeur taiko professionnel et accompli. J'ai été le fondateur et le premier directeur musical du groupe Taiko Drumming de l'Université Cornell, j'ai reçu le prix d'excellence du concours de nouveaux artistes de l'Université des arts de Tokyo, et ma musique originale est maintenant publiée par Harper Collins et Cambridge International Curriculum qui établit une norme mondiale pour l'éducation et l'emploi. Faites l'expérience de la merveilleuse batterie taiko Japonaise grâce à un atelier de 90 minutes où j'enseignerai en Anglais la batterie taiko. Nous passerons par l'entraînement de base, l'entraînement rythmique, et apprendrons une pièce de batterie taiko traditionnelle et contemporaine. Je vais également donner une courte performance et une brève explication de l'histoire de la batterie taiko. De plus, vous recevrez une vidéo personnalisée de vous jouant de la batterie taiko. Eva is an amazing instructor and Tiako drummer. Such a professional and we had an absolutely amazing family experience. Taiko drumming was amazing and we highly recommend for a great authentic family experience. Great for kids as well. Thank you Eva!!!
This was a great multigenerational activity that was fun, physical, and culturally educational. Eva was a great, encouraging teacher and the format of the class made it very engaging. We would definitely recommend. You can tell she’s really passionate about her music and excited to share with others.
Anyway, it was a lot of fun! Eva's lessons were hard but fulfilling, and when I finished I was fascinated by wadaiko. There were several kinds of drums, and I was allowed to use three kinds of drums. From rhythm practice to songs, I'm very happy.
It was very fun! Eva is such an enthusiastic person and we learned a lot in a very short amount of time!
Fantastic hands on drumming workshop with Eva. We quickly learned drumming patterns and played together as a group. Eva is an enthusiastic and skilled instructor. So much fun!

Eva was a great and fun teacher. This was one of the highlights of my trip. I loved learning the music and receiving the videos of my performance to share with my friends was really neat. If you are interested in music I highly recommend this experience.
My family and I had a private Taiko drumming lesson with Eva and it was absolutely incredible. Many cited it as their favorite memory and experience on our trip in Japan. This was so much fun and Eva is such a wonderful and patient instructor. I high recommend this experience to others. Our pictures and the video from our session will be a treasured memory.
