The workshop was really fun for us! Daniel explained everything wonderfully and was generally very nice and funny. The chocolates and hot chocolate also tasted great, and the view is fantastic, so definitely recommended!
The chocolate experience was really fun. The hosts were great, we learned some things and had some amazing chocolates to take home with us. Highly recommend.
A bit chaotic, but very fun. It would’ve been nice if water was provided throughout the experience and there was a lot of standing but very cool to learn how to make truffles and the hot chocolate was delicious.
It was very poorly organized and the guide was not very knowledgeable. A lot of what was promised was not present, felt like a waste of money. We did not learn about Peruvian chocolate or any of the history either. It was very chaotic environment and we were in a small space. I am sad because me and my party were very excited about this and felt very let down.
This experience was highly rated. So we booked it. Others in our group seemed to enjoy it. We however did not. It simply seems like the first time they have ever done it. Not well organized at all. The instructor even commented it was a big group like he was surprised. However, they set the size of the group and its stated in the description. Some of the equipment did not work. Because of this the way we proceeded did not seem sanitary, having to share everything with other groups, hands in. Other experiences on Viator showed roasting the beans and actually making the chocolate this was just melting it and putting it into molds. Just overall not for me.
This was such a fun evening! David was really kind and funny, and explained everything to us very well. The chocolate is really high quality and delicious, and the setting overlooking Cusco is beautiful. Would really recommend!
I expected it to be more complete like going out the jungle harvesting fruit and processing the beans, instead of just filling plastic moulds
David is an enthusiastic instructor. We loved the chocolates we made and the hot chocolate was delicious.
This was such a fun class. A perfect mix of education and fun while making some really delicious chocolate. Highly recommend
Fun class with friends. We learned some of the history of chocolate in the Cusco region and why it's unique. As we were making a couple dozen delicious chocolates to bring home we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the city.
