It was our travel agent who booked our cruise. When we arrived on the boat, surprise we were not registered! We were taken to another boat on which our companion, who did not speak French, had to fight for a cabin. We were alone on the boat all day and in the evening we had to fight for information about our program. In short, in the end we were on a boat with a Spanish and not French group, we had a guide and a vehicle for each visit, we were totally isolated. The visits are at the pace of load, the first two guides were very good (3 different guides), the third was mediocre, ill-polished with the other guides, he showed us around the valley of the kings , 3 tombs in 40min then Hatshepsut in 35min, at the colossi of Menon, we got out of the car and we could not even get near it! In summary, 4th day of cruise: departure 6:30 in the morning for the Valley of the Kings, 9:20 we were in front of the door of our hotel in Luxor! Terribly disappointed with this experience, we had chosen the cruise to take a break in our 15-day trip, thinking we would be taken care of and rest our heads on the question of organization... we were served!!!

We had a very nice time during the cruise we took from Aswan to Luxor with Journey to Egypt. Everything was very well organized and they made sure we feel cared for and comfortable along the way. The trip was fantastic! There were many amazing sites to see and the whole itinerary was fully organized which made it very easy and relaxing. Our guide John was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience first class all around. I highly recommend this trip!

I travel a lot and yet I was super impressed by this company! I felt very taken care of and the places we visited were one the most beautiful in the world. Our tour guide Jon was amazing. He knew so much and you could see it’s his real passion. He also speaks excellent English. I particularly valued the punctuality! We were always the first ones to enter the temples and it’s super important because they get really crowded later on. I’d definitely chose them again and recommend 100%!

Tour guide gave excellent recommendations, advice, historical information. He was extremely well organized and very personable. We saw so.much with him plus he made sure we had adequate time to explore by ourselves. The accomadations and food were great.

We had a wonderful trip from Aswan to Luxor. The program is quite demanding, especially since there were some delays at the lock on the third day and therefore all the sights in Luxor had to be seen in one day. Our tour guide Mohamed designed every stop great, reacted flexibly to changes in the program and really knew a lot. Even if the price is a bit steep, we can recommend the tour!

Incredible experience! I was a little skeptical at first of how nice the boat would be, the food, etc. but it exceeded all of my expectations. The boat we were on truly had 5 star service. Everyone was exceptionally kind and thoughtful. The food was also great! The days can be kind of busy seeing all of the temples but it’s a good blend on the 4 day cruise. Not too much in one day and not too little where you are sitting on the boat doing nothing most of the day. It was also so nice having a tour guide. We got lucky with our tour guide George, he was the absolute best part of our trip. We always felt safe and he taught us so much about Egyptian mythology etc. I honestly can’t imagine what it would have been like without a tour guide to help you visit all of these locations. I feel like it would be extremely overwhelming and you would have many concerns with getting scammed on prices etc. and not to mention you would miss out on a lot of learning about the temples and Egyptians! Overall - excellent trip experience and thank you especially to our tour guide, George.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the ultra Deluxe nile cruise when we took the standard option. The crew was great, the room spacious and we ate very well, thank you very much!
