Départ de Rome pour un voyage à la découverte de trois lieux sacrés en Ombrie. Un minibus privé et confortable viendra vous chercher à votre hôtel ou appartement à Rome et vous conduira à Assise, lieu de naissance de saint François. Vous visiterez la basilique Santa Maria degli Angeli et la Porziuncola, un lieu de prière. Vous explorerez les rues médiévales, la basilique San Francesco et la basilique Santa Chiara. Enfin, accompagné de votre guide, vous atteindrez l'église qui abrite le corps du bienheureux Carlo Acutis. L'entrée étant gratuite, l'accès sera limité par le temps d'attente, en fonction de l'affluence actuelle. Après la visite, temps libre pour déjeuner. La visite se poursuivra jusqu'à Roccaporena, lieu de naissance de Sainte Rita, où vous découvrirez les lieux liés à sa vie, notamment sa maison natale. Vous arriverez enfin à Cascia où vous pourrez visiter la basilique qui abrite sa dépouille et le monastère dédié à la « Sainte des Impossibles ».

Assise, située au cœur de l'Ombrie, est une ville médiévale célèbre pour être le lieu de naissance de saint François, patron de l'Italie. Le centre historique d'Assise se caractérise par des ruelles pittoresques, des églises anciennes et des places charmantes. La basilique Saint-François, divisée en deux églises superposées, est l'un des principaux lieux de pèlerinage et abrite les restes du saint. Roccaporena est un petit village médiéval pittoresque situé à quelques kilomètres de Cascia, en Ombrie, et célèbre pour être le lieu de naissance de Santa Rita. Au cœur de Roccaporena se trouve la maison natale de Sainte Rita, aujourd'hui un important lieu de pèlerinage, où les visiteurs peuvent découvrir la vie de la sainte et son lien profond avec le territoire. La maison a été transformée en un petit musée qui rassemble des objets liés à sa vie et à sa spiritualité. Roccaporena abrite également le Sanctuaire de Santa Rita, qui comprend le couvent où la sainte a passé une partie de sa jeunesse et la petite église qui abrite quelques reliques qui lui sont attribuées. Un autre lieu important est la grotte de Sainte Rita, un refuge naturel où la sainte se retirait pour prier et méditer.
Cascia est un petit village charmant situé dans la région de l'Ombrie, au centre de l'Italie. Elle est surtout connue pour son lien avec Sainte Rita de Cascia, l'une des saintes les plus vénérées de l'Église catholique. Le sanctuaire de Sainte Rita à Cascia est le lieu où sa vie et son esprit sont célébrés, attirant des milliers de pèlerins chaque année. À l'intérieur du sanctuaire est conservé le corps de Sainte Rita, objet de vénération depuis sa canonisation en 1900. Le sanctuaire est devenu un centre de spiritualité et de prière, où les fidèles demandent des grâces et des faveurs, inspirés par l'exemple de vie du saint. La figure de sainte Rita reste donc l'une des figures les plus significatives du christianisme, un symbole de foi inébranlable et d'amour inconditionnel. Cascia est également entourée d'une nature intacte, avec des paysages montagneux qui en font une destination idéale pour ceux qui recherchent la détente et le contact direct avec la beauté naturelle de l'Ombrie.

We had a wonderful private tour with Mama Mia Italia. Frederica met us at our hotel and coordinated the entire day flawlessly. She guided us through Cascia, including the town center and the Sanctuary of Santa Rita, sharing great history and local insight while keeping everything perfectly on schedule. Later in Assisi, Sylvia took over and was just as fantastic—warm, knowledgeable, and passionate. She brought the story of St. Francis to life as we explored the Basilica, the historic town, and its beautiful viewpoints. It was an amazing day! The van arrived to pick us up on time (in fact, 5 minutes earlier). Clean and comfortable car. From the very beginning, the guide Federica and the driver Stefano presented themselves cordial and kind. The day passed very calmly. We visited Rocaporena, Cascia and then went to the city of Assisi, where we had lunch and then, with the local guide, we visited the basilicas of Clara and Francis, the house of Francisco, the town square and, finally, the church where Carlos Acutis is. An unforgettable day, full of the grace of God!!!!!

Fantastic tour guide and driver. Federica was the nicest person and was very accommodating with special requests (ie bathroom breaks, shopping etc) She explained everything about the tour and we stopped at a fantastic coffee bar and Paninni place for Lunch! Massimo was the most professional of drivers, It was a long day of driving and he made us feel safe and confident that we would get to our destination on time and safely. I highly recommend this tour company!!
