Excellent safari! Thank you to Raymond, our guide, and to Takims staff for a pleasant and adventurous journey. Arusha Coffee Lodge, Tangerine Treetops Lodge and Serengeti Migration Camp Lodge provided 5 star lodging, food, service, and extras. The hospitality was top notch. We were a group of 4 (2 couples ) taken to 3 different locations in Tanzania to see up close a total of 42 animals which included The Big Five, Carnivores, Herbivores, Primates, and Birds. We had a wonderful safari with the best guide we could have imagined. Masatu had 17 years’ experience and knew all the best spots for spotting animals. He also took our needs into account (such as toilet stops) and was more than happy to answer all our questions about the animals. Excellent and very organized tour operator. Our driver Nerek was just the best! His English was excellent and he was very knowledgeable on Arusha, animals, landscape, etc. He was always on time with a smile each morning. Our accommodations were awesome from safari lodge, bougie tented camp, mobile tent, and farmhouse.... a little bit of everything which we loved experiencing. We did the tree walk which was a nice stop to get out of the jeep and stretch out legs. We loved the Datoga Tribe and Hazabe Tribe tours. For the Hazabe Tribe, it was the highlight for two of my boys. I would note that while we loved it, to inform your decision please note the hike was 5.5 miles in a rugged terrain so wear appropriate clothes, shoes, and bring water. Highly recommend this operator.

Masatu picked us up at our hotel right on time. The vehicle was clean. He had water and a boxed lunch for us. We had a great conversation on the way to the national park. The Park was exceptional. We saw so many animals and Masatu what is wonderful about staying in one spot as long as we wanted to take a picture or video. It didn’t matter how long we needed to stay there he was happy to apply. If he felt he could get a better view somewhere else he would let us know. We saw zebras, giraffes, baboons, monkeys, flamingos, bush bucks, and lots of birds. The park is gorgeous. It was absolutely amazing to see baboons grooming each other, and playing right in the street. My husband loves to stand up with his head out of the top of the vehicle, and look around. If you are short like I am, that can be a little bit of an issue. But I enjoyed having the windows open with a cool breeze blowing through and being able to see the animals in certain circumstances.
