Circuit artistique à travers des ateliers d'artistes autour de San Miguel de Allende

Description

This was a fantastic way to get beyond the boutique galleries of El Centro and meet the actual artists and see their work. Arturo was an outstanding and charming host and is very knowledgeable about the area and the local artists. There was opportunity to buy works from the artists, but no pressure to do so. We have been to SMA several times previously, but have never had the unique experience of visiting artists in their homes or studios. I highly recommend Arturo's art tour to anyone with an appreciation of art and the artists who create it, particularly those interested in a deeper exploration of what makes San Miguel de Allende's art scene so unique.
Arturo was amazing. Definitely recommend!
Our guide arranged a great day of studio visits where we met amazing artists who warmly showed us their work and even taught us their techniques. We were invited into their homes and studios for a one-of-a-kind experience. Great day.
It was wonderful to visit the artists on their own home or studio and to learn about their inspiration and process. It was a great day!
Arturo was great. He took us to 4 different artist studios to meet with the artists and see four different types of art The area is rich in artistic history and we enjoyed the day
Arturo drove us around in his personal vehicle (which was very nice) to three different artist studios in the San Miguel area. It would have been impossible for us to have found these on our own. Bea Aaronson was hoot! Think a female Salvador Dali. The visit to Ana Cornejo and Heinz Kunzli's home and studio was outside of town on a hillside out in the country. Amazing work. Arturo curates each tour to the small group's own artistic tastes so be prepared to be surprised.
We visited three artist studios and ended at the Art galleries (Fabrica La Aurora). Our guide provided only nominal background / insight into each artist outside of reading a summary. We somewhat enjoyed talking directly to the artists. One of the three was above the rest. But, the tour started at noon and we neglected to eat lunch and honestly, we didn’t learn much of the artist culture in SMA.
We visited 3 artists and studios. It was an ok experience but wouldn’t do it again. It wasn’t art that I liked for the most part. Guide struggled with English-but was very kind. Great transportation
This tour was the highlight of our trip to SMA for my husband and I. Arturo was so helpful and flexible when we had to change days in the beginning, and he was still able to place us with artists who were amazing! Liliana was such an amazing guide and ambassador for the community. I’ve been on many tours but she was by far the most knowledgeable, kind, and exciting person to explore with. I highly, HIGHLY recommend everyone to take this tour while in SMA. It combines art, culture, and community into one unique experience. Don’t miss out!
I highly recommend Arturo‘s art tour. It was an incredible behind-the-scenes view of the San Miguel de Allende art scene. Arturo was a great companion for the tour and helpful in every way imaginable. If you’re interested in art, then don’t miss Arturo’s tour.
