Visite à vélo des îles d'Aran avec thé et scones de Galway

Description

What a great day! Our guide was excellent and the group size of 8 people perfect. The difficulty and distance for cycling was minimal, leaving lots of time for an interesting visit to the smaller Aran island, with the knowledgable tour guide filling in the spaces with stories, history and interesting tidbits. Very worthwhile.
Fantastic day starting from Galway with a small group, traveling to Aran islands via ferry, and then a bike tour around the island. Deirdre was an incredible tour guide - knowledgeable, kind, and entertaining! Highly recommend.
Just got back from our all day trip with Dee (Dierdre). She was an absolute joy. Gave us lots of extra information about Irish culture and heritage and answered every question (and even sang us a song). The weather on the day was absolutely in our favour even though the ferry ride to the island was a bit choppy at first. The scones were delicious too! Thanks for a lovely experience.
This was by far my favorite experience in Ireland. The Aran Islands felt like stepping into another world—so unique, beautiful, and unlike anywhere else we visited. We loved biking around the island, taking in the incredible views, and learning about the history of the people, landmarks, and landscape. The scone experience was a wonderful touch, and getting to speak with island locals about life on the island made the day even more special and authentic. A quick note: the ferry ride can be quite rough, so anyone prone to seasickness should come prepared. That said, it was absolutely worth it. One of the best and most memorable days of our vacation. Highly recommend!
Phill and Dee were amazing tour guides!!! I really loved their stories and banter. Even though one of our party wasn’t the best biker, they made the bike ride as easy as possible without making anyone feel bad. It was really just completely kind. Please take this tour!!
We really enjoyed our day tour with Phil! He's hilarious and knowledgeable about Irish culture. The weather was typical for Ireland and he gave us options on the Aran Islands to get around. He made sure to stop for coffee/snacks before the ferry and then a local place for lunch on the way back. The tea + scones on the island was so special to meet the locals and reserved table was a perfect reprieve from the rain. Also the, tour size of 7 (max 8) was perfect. We really got to talk, ask questions, and experience Irish hospitality on this tour. We found value when booking direct vs getyourguide or other sites.
This tour was a highlight of our trip to Ireland. Everything was timed perfectly. Beautiful drive from Galway to Doolin with a coffee and rest stop along the way. Arriving at the ferry pier in Doolin we were meet by the one and only Ollie from Ollie’s Tours. He was some much fun to be around and tour the island of inisheer. After finishing our bike ride we had a reserved table in a cafe where we were treated to tea and scones. The ride back to Galway took a different route along the sea. A 10 out of 10 day. Don’t hesitate to book with Ollie’s tours.
Tour was phemonal. I messaged staff prior to going with questions and responses were prompt and very helpful! Thank you Freya and Ollie for getting back to me so quick! We got picked up at Galway Cathedral right on time by Ollie who has a charming and energetic personality. The drive to the ferry was entertaining as Ollie really knows how to carry a conversation. Once we got to the site of the ferry we meet our tour guides for the day, Fiachra and Conor. They were great! Lots of interaction and just overall super nice people. The scones on the island were delicious and Gale had really interesting stories to tell about the island. 10/10 experience very glad we booked with this group and would be super happy to do another tour with them in the future.
Our day started brilliantly with our guide Murph. He was so kind and we enjoyed our conversations with Murph. He was filled with knowledge and even offered to stop and get coffee since we had a bit of time on way to the ferry to go to the Aran Islands. It was a great place to stop. Murph really helped us see the Aran Islands in all its glory. We thought this tour was magical. We felt it deeply. The scenery is breathtaking and Murph really brought it all to life . If he lived in the Inited States .., we would be having a craic! I would recommend requesting him! We now would call him a friend! Jeanine Kelly .. USA
Lovely seaside drive down to Doolin - then off in the ferry to Inisheer Island for a bicycle tour with stops at points of interest. Phil is a knowledgeable guide and good fun and we learned a lot about the history and culture of the island and surrounding area. Do this tour!!
