Unique experience id do it again. A great way for me to get deeper under water otherwise my ears just won't let me dive. And one of the best margaritas I've had.
Our family group (five people ages 18-55) had a great time on the Aquafari tour! This was a totally new experience for all of us since we aren't scuba divers, so it gave us an opportunity to do something similar to scuba, but without all of the necessary training and in a safe environment. The guides were great and always around us for safety and we saw lots of interesting things underwater. One tip - during the orientation when they go over the hand signals to use underwater (such as to indicate you want to go up or down, etc.) pay close attention, because once you are in the underwater scooter that's the best and clearest way to communicate with the guides. The tour was lots of fun! And definitely get the photo package, it is well worth it.
It was a special experience on the underwater scooter. Unfortunately I got seasick, I didn't expect that. The scooter hangs from a buoy and it heaves on the waves. So I did not see many fish, my husband and daughter enjoyed it! I was very nicely escorted back to shore by one of the divers. Very friendly lovely people work here. Only downside we found the loud music at the lounge area.

We absolutely loved this excursion! The staff were amazing and made us feel very welcome. I can’t get over the gorgeous waters, and beautiful sea life we were able to see. Highly recommend!
I purchased the digital copies of my photos and paid the additional $15 to have them emailed to me. I was told I would receive them by email, but it’s now been 7 days and I still haven’t received anything. I checked my spam folder as well and still nothing 🤔
I saw Aquafari on TripAdvisor & could not pass it up as an activity for my family (husband & 2 young adult sons) this week on vacation in Curacao. It’s unlike anything I’ve seen before & the closest we’ll come to scuba diving, most likely. The shop is easy to find & a sign shows the way to a stairway down to the dock. The staff were smiling & friendly. They have lockers to hold your beach towels, etc, and a bathroom, free to use by customers. First, we were shown a short training video which answered any question we might have & then a quick quiz by the friendly staff to make sure we understood what we learned (a few easy hand signals to enable communication between us & our guides.) The one signal I used was to let our guide know that I needed my oxygen turned up a little. Because of the short, yet valuable training beforehand, I did not panic at all. I noticed I was breathing a little faster & didn’t hesitate to motion to our guide. He adjusted the valve & I immediately got back to enjoying my ride. My guys had no issues at all. We saw starfish, tropical fish all around us, two sea turtles, and lots of coral. We definitely recommend!
What an amazing experience! Aquafari is a one of a kind underwater adventure. From the check in staff to the underwater guides, they made sure we had a fun and safe trip.
I was able to check this off my bucket list. The guide and staff are amazing. I literally wanted to go back under for a second ride. We created beautiful memories.
We loved this experience. We didn’t see an option for our group of 6, so we reached out to them directly and they were able to accommodate us. Once we were there everyone was friendly. It was the perfect for anyone with glasses because you can wear them on the scooter. Operating the scooter was easy and the pictures the guides took great. It’s a great experience for anyone who wants to scuba dive but aren’t certified.
