Commencez à Srinagar, où vous visiterez les célèbres jardins moghols et profiterez d'une promenade paisible en Shikara sur le lac Dal. Continuez jusqu’à Pahalgam, la « vallée des bergers », où vous pourrez faire des promenades en poney et explorer Baisaran, également connue sous le nom de Mini Suisse. À Gulmarg, le « pré des fleurs », profitez d’une balade en téléphérique palpitante. Enfin, visitez Sonmarg, la « prairie d’or », et admirez le spectaculaire glacier Thajiwas.

Great Majestic experience in Srinagar Lakes and Srinagar Gardens & Sonamarg Icy Hills & Pahalgm Hills. Wonderful people and Majestic View. Great experience with the tour guide Mr Fida and driver Mr Firdaous. Very great helpful people with great personality who shares a lot of history and brings you to the best places with nice food and value for money shops. Unfortunately, not a very pleasant experience at Gulmarg due to VERY forceful salesperson with pony rides and their packages(hopefully things may change for the future). The wait for the Gondola Ride was long(phase 1 &phase 2)(around 2 hours one way to reach phase 2) but that is expected for places with majestic view. Overall it was a majestic trip. Will come again one day.

After 18 days of touring rajastan and putthar Pradesh we relaxed in the housboot at Alapuzzha and Varkala beach.both highly recommended.Sun, Ayurvedic massages, shopping and seaside restaurants with great fish at cheap prices.

I contacted Fida from Astera Tours in about April and gave him a brief of our expectations. We kept in touch and coined an itinerary suitable for our 7 day trip in May. Fida was excellent and extremely accommodating in terms of impromptu itinerary updates, showing us off beaten and off track locations. Giving us history of the places we visited. Also suggestions for restaurants and stays were on point. We had an extremely relaxing, enjoyable, comfortable, safe and beautiful trip thanks to Fida and his companion Firdaus.

In a place where every kid calls himself "a guide" It was refreshing to meet a professional. Fida takes his job seriously and he deserves all compliments. He knows the landscape, the main attraction as well as the hidden gems and he took care of us! (I can't begin to explain how important it was). We felt secure with him. Listen to his advice and let him tailor make a trip for you. (we happened to use his expertise in Kashmir but I'd trust him everywhere in India as well)
