Soleil, voile et plongée en apnée - le moyen idéal pour passer un après-midi à Aruba. Lors de cette excursion de trois heures, naviguez sur les eaux des Caraïbes à bord d'un catamaran et lancez-vous dans les ailerons pour explorer deux riches sites de plongée en apnée. Tout d'abord, nagez près des anges et autres animaux marins colorés dans la baie calme de Catalina. Puis dirigez-vous vers l'épave d'Antilla, l'un des sites de plongée les plus célèbres de l'île, où les anges, les vivaneaux, les raies et les murènes tournoient autour des restes du cargo de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Bonus: Un bar ouvert, des snacks sont inclus.

La plongée en apnée est l'un des moyens les meilleurs et les plus simples de découvrir la vie marine sous-marine d'Aruba. Montez à bord de l'un des catamarans de luxe de Red Sail Aruba pour vous emmener vers deux des meilleurs sites de plongée avec tuba d'Aruba ; l'épave d'Antilla et Boca Catalina. Faites le plein et rafraîchissez-vous avec des bouchées et un bar ouvert bien approvisionné.
Située au large de la pointe nord-ouest d'Aruba, la petite baie isolée de Catalina offre des eaux calmes et transparentes, l'endroit idéal pour se rafraîchir ou apprendre la plongée en apnée. Après un briefing sur la sécurité, enfilez l'équipement de plongée en apnée fourni et lancez-vous ! Trempez votre masque sous l'eau et émerveillez-vous devant un pays des merveilles de poissons tropicaux. Dans les eaux peu profondes atteignant une profondeur d'env. À 15 pieds (5 mètres), vous pourrez voir des poissons-anges, des bancs de poissons-perroquets bleus et des demoiselles nageant autour des coraux et des gorgones à proximité.
L’épave abrite désormais un habitat florissant pour une vie marine diversifiée. Mettez votre masque de plongée en apnée, donnez un coup de pied dans vos palmes et explorez les eaux avec une visibilité moyenne de 30 à 50 pieds (9 à 15 mètres). L'épave commence à environ 10 pieds sous le niveau de la mer. Découvrez le côté tribord du navire, entièrement recouvert d'une épaisse couche de corail. Survolez le gaillard d'avant et observez le vivaneau à queue jaune, les poissons-papillons, les raies pastenagues du sud et les murènes vertes glisser autour du pont supérieur. Admirez les étoiles, les coraux de feu et les coraux cérébraux, et apercevez des barracudas, des napoléons et des bancs de grognements blancs. Après une plongée tranquille sur l'épave du navire, détendez-vous à bord du catamaran et sirotez d'autres offres du bar ouvert pendant que nous retournons à Palm Beach.

My family booked the 3-hour Antilla Shipwreck and Catalina Bay Snorkel Sail, we reserved through Viator and it was a fun experience. We boarded at Piet’s Pier in the Hyatt hotel, there were 2 snorkeling stops. The 3 crew members - Lizzie, Leo, and Captain Richard - were attentive and courteous. There were unlimited drinks and 3 rounds of light appetizers, overall a great time and highly recommend.

There are SO many different catamaran tours available in Aruba, I couldn’t be happier that we chose Red Sail. Captain D, Lizzy, and crew were all amazing. The crew worked really well together and that made all the difference. They knew so much about the island and we really enjoyed learning about everything. We got to see turtles come up, a shipwreck, coral, eels, sea urchins, and so many fish. They knew where everything was at. The shipwreck was amazing. You do need to be a confident swimmer to do the shipwreck - the currents are no joke. They had their crew in the water for safety. I can’t say enough good things about the crew. They made it such a great experience. The boat was very nice and a perfect size, it didn’t feel overcrowded. There’s a slide/waterslide on the back of the boat and that was added fun too. The lunch provided was also SO GOOD! This was our first time in Aruba, and we will definitely do this again.

The meeting point was easy to find. They provide everything necessary for snorkeling and there is an open bar on board (my children took advantage of the non-alcoholic drinks, aside from some snacks that were also available and were very delicious). At the first spot (Catalina) you see few fish and it is suitable for all ages. The second spot (Antilla, the shipwreck) is the bomb: it was impressive to be able to see a sunken ship of that magnitude without needing to scuba dive (the history of the ship is also super interesting), aside from finding a greater number of fish species in this place. There is more current here, but my 10-year-old son was able to do it without major problems (I do not recommend it for anyone younger). It goes without saying that you always have to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, etc., as in all of Aruba. The staff on board is very helpful and friendly, which is important when traveling with minors. Everyone speaks English, Spanish, and Dutch perfectly. I recommend it.
