Description
Antelope Canyon X, situé au sud-est du canyon Lower Antelope près de la ville porte d'entrée de Page, en Arizona, doit son nom aux X sculptés dans le grès Navajo créés par des millions d'années de pluie et de vent. Cette partie du canyon est ciselée par des millions d'années d'érosion due aux inondations et de vents violents sur son grès, suffisamment pour sculpter la forme emblématique en "X" qui a bien nommé le canyon. Canyon X est une visite panoramique relativement nouvelle et le cousin moins connu de Upper/Lower Antelope Canyon, ce qui entraîne moins de visiteurs par rapport aux deux autres. Canyon X est un mélange des caractéristiques des canyons supérieur et inférieur, avec la caractéristique supérieure des piliers de lumière et la pente de la partie inférieure. Canyon X est également plus profond que les deux autres et offre de nombreuses opportunités de photos. C'est aussi un lieu de vacances idéal pour la photographie.

Itinéraire
La randonnée d'une heure et demie Antelope Canyon X commence à la réserve de la nation Navajo. Après le stationnement et le paiement, vous êtes transporté dans un véhicule de transport 4 × 4 sur 5 km jusqu'à l'embouchure d'Antelope Canyon X, où vous faites ensuite une randonnée de 100 mètres dans Antelope Canyon X. En bas, des guides vous assistent lors d'une visite du premier canyon à sous. Une fois le premier canyon à sous terminé, des guides vous accompagnent sur la marche de 200 mètres jusqu'au deuxième canyon à sous. Si vous choisissez la visite photographique, vous aurez 2,5 heures dans le canyon. Cette visite s'adresse aux amateurs de photographie, aux personnes qui souhaitent passer plus de temps dans le canyon et utiliser un trépied.
Canyon X est une visite panoramique relativement nouvelle et le cousin moins connu de Upper/Lower Antelope Canyon, ce qui entraîne moins de visiteurs par rapport aux deux autres.

The tour was very good. Small group size with each tour guide. We were able to take our time through the canyon, did not seemed rushed at all. Guide was very informative and took our picture at a few of the stops.
The trip was amazing! Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. Antelope Canyon is absolutely breathtaking, and I highly recommend this tour.
Beware buying merchandise at Canyon X. They gave me the wrong item, later I called for return address, sent it back, disputed the credit card charge, they had the charge reinstated! Now I’m out T-shirt and $35. Beware!

It was a must-see experience! They can help you with photos to capture the best Instagram worthy pictures. I was also great to learn how these canyons were formed and some history with them and the Navajo land.
Booked Antelope Canyon X tour a day before. Few hours before the tour operator canceled for no reason. Now we are stuck without the tour as it is sold out. Avoid, dishonest operator.

This tour was a highlight of our vacation. So very glad we visited here. Pictures we took were stunning. There are a number of steps down to the actual canyon that must be navigated back to the top. But this stop was so very worth it!
