Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour: 2,5 jours avec le lac Tonlé Sap

We had a blast during the whole trip. It was good organized, and we had a very kind and knowledgeable guide (Sopheap Rath) who made the trip truly special due to his ability to explain the history. We got to se A LOT of beautiful temples, and the last day, the floating village trip was also great. Would 10/10 recommend this trip.

We came to visit Angor wat and our travel company booked us Journey Cambodia. We got very lucky to have Sakriya and Vireak. They both took care of us extremely well throughout our stay. They were flexible, supportive and patient. Sakriya is an amazing guide who is extremely passionate about his country and so knowledgeable. He took us to all the important parts, gave excellent tour of the temples, suggested great food places, stopped to try the local delicacies and to top it all an excellent photographer and took stunning pictures. We made a change to our itinerary to see thousands of lingas and they were so supportive and accomodated our request at the last minute. We are so happy with the entire trip and are carrying wonderful memories back home. Vireak is a wonderful driver, very courteous, always ready with chilled water bottles and cold towels with a pleasant smile and took care of us. We recently spent three nights and days at Siem Reap and found it to be an unforgettable experience, with memories that will stay with us for many decades. Cambodia’s rich heritage expressed through its temples and sites have extraordinary ambassadors in the form of Journey Cambodia’s team members. We were privileged to have Mr. Lim Bunthang (AKA Mr. Bun) as our tour guide for two days ably assisted by his team member, Mr. Em Sambath, who drove us around. Mr Bun, our guide, is fluent in English and very knowledgeable about the history, culture, mythology, religion, politics, architectural and archeological underpinnings of the sites he took us to see. He wove beautiful stories using all these perspectives to bring the 10 century old sites alive for us. With his 15 years experience and national certification in the tour industry - he was also very good at making sure that he found the optimal walking routes and vantage points to show us the best views. Some of the sites require careful navigation of the boardwalks and steps - Mr Bun helped and facilitated so that we felt safe going up and down. Mr Bun is very polite with a great sense of humor and we really enjoyed and benefited from our time with him. He is also very well read and articulate and some of our best moments were listening to his dispositions on Cambodia’s recent history and economy. He built a bridge from the ancient to the modern that helped us understand where Cambodia was and where it is today. When we returned tired and hot back to our car - Mr Sambath, our driver, was there with chilled water and eucalyptus scented cold towels to revive and refresh us. A very careful driver, Mr Sambath took excellent care of us on the numerous excursions we went on. He too had a great sense of humor. Right from the time we contacted Journey Cambodia online - we had an amazing experience working with Ms. Karona (AKA Ms. Ana). As our tour planning consultant, Ms. Ana was prompt and detailed in her communications and helped put together a comprehensive and excellent itinerary that made the best use of our limited time in Cambodia. Journey Cambodia is a local firm started by Mr. Boret Ream (AKA Mr. Bo). He was gracious in inviting us to Journey Cambodia’s staff get together while we were there. With about 20 years experience in the industry, Mr Bo told us that he started Journey Cambodia 10 years ago as a way to provide employment to his countrymen and women and plow back the profits into Cambodia rather than see money move out of country as happens with the larger international tour companies. He selects the best guides and staff and is growing the firm very careful to ensure the best service and experience possible to the guests who visit his country. In general we found the Cambodian people very gracious and welcoming and this was true at the Journey Cambodia staff get together too - other guides and drivers and the front office staff came by and welcomed us in a very hospitable and non-intrusive manner. Mr. Bo has a great team and we wish them all the best for the future 🙏🏽

Highly recommend booking your Siem Reap tour with Journey Cambodia. The itinerary was excellent, taking us to incredible off-the-beaten-path temples, and they were very accommodating to our family (we travel with young children). We also had the opportunity to spend the late afternoon cycling around a small village surrounded by rice paddies and locals living their regular lives, after which we enjoyed delicious snacks watching the sun set over the rice paddies - couldn’t think of a better way to cap off a long but thoroughly enjoyable day! Our guide, Bun, was fantastic—knowledgeable, insightful, and able to share firsthand perspectives from growing up in Siem Reap and witnessing the country’s recent history. Our driver, Sambath, was equally wonderful. He always anticipated our needs with water, cool towels, and more, and his warm smile perfectly reflected the kindness and positivity we’ll always remember Cambodia for.

Awesome trip in Cambodia thanks to journeys of Cambodia!! We were referred to them by my sister who just had a great experience. we also requested for Mr Lim Bunthang (Mr Bun) he took care of our group of5, like we were his own family, explained every question we had patiently . Mr Sam pat the driver was a very careful and skilled driver. They had a bottle of cold water and cold towels for each one of us after each temple tour. I highly recommend both of them, and would definitely be asking for them next time I come here.

Friendly and knowledgeable guide

Excellent service by both Rada, our driver and Chhay, our tour guide. Both were very cognizant of our individual needs as well as making sure we got the full experience at each of the sites we visited. Would definitely recommend this tour to those who have 3 days of sightseeing as it covers the most important archeologic sites. Chhay is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions

We had an absolutely fantastic 2.5-day tour of Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples with our guide Chhay and driver Rada. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Cambodia. Chhay is an exceptional guide. His knowledge of the history of the Khmer Empire, the symbolism in the carvings, and the stories behind each temple was incredible. He explained everything clearly and in a way that made the temples come alive. You can tell he genuinely loves sharing his country’s history. Beyond that, he is a humble, kind, and thoughtful person who made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. Rada, our driver, was equally wonderful. He was always punctual, professional, and attentive. After every temple visit, he welcomed us back with cold water and refreshing towels — which was so appreciated in the heat. We felt completely safe and well taken care of the entire time. If you are visiting Angkor Wat and want a knowledgeable, reliable, and genuinely warm team, we highly recommend Chhay and Rada. Their professionalism, hospitality, and deep knowledge made our visit unforgettable. We would book them again without hesitation!

Two extraordinary days visiting the temples. Thank you to our guide Sak for introducing us to the wonders of Kmer culture. Sak has been taking care of us and is a keen connoisseur of his history. I highly recommend it. Third day in siem Reap and visit floating villages with Joan our guide. Joan gave us a detailed explanation during our boat ride. Very good guide that I also recommend.

Excellent 2,5 days. First day across the siem reap region with Sak and his driver , to watch different temples. We had a great time and really enjoyed the visits with an extremely knowledgeable guide. The second day was spent in and around Angkor wat, also with Sak and again an excellent experience, where our guide showed us the best spots and got us the best places for photography in all venues. He is also an accomplished photographer himself. Highly recommended ! Last half day spent with Joan (or Goan, sorry) and his driver to visit the floating villages and a boat trip. Super nice guide and a very exclusive experience as we were alone. Interesting to see the boat houses and to learn about the local history.
