Andorre Excursion en petit groupe au départ de Barcelone
Description
Andorre est un pays indépendant entre l'Espagne et la France, avec une histoire, une nature, une gastronomie et un patrimoine uniques, ce qui fait de cette excursion d'une journée l'une des plus intéressantes pour se reposer un peu pendant votre séjour dans Barcelone bondée. Si vous ne voulez PAS passer 13 heures ou plus dans un bus conduit par 3 pays différents en une journée, vous préférez faire partie d'un circuit exclusif en Andorre. Alors, s'il vous plaît, ne vous attendez pas à trouver un grand magasin ou un centre commercial, car Andorre est bien plus que cela. PS : Si vous voulez vraiment passer par la France nous pouvons le faire moyennant un paiement supplémentaire (gratuit à partir de 4 pax). Il est recommandé en particulier de regarder la beauté de la route à Berguedà et La Cerdagne, toujours en Catalogne (Espagne) et entrer en Andorre après avoir parcouru quelques kilomètres à travers la France. PASSEPORT obligatoire (pas de permis de conduire ni de pièce d'identité nationale) pour tous les passagers en provenance de pays tiers. Je dois obtenir un nombre minimum de passagers (2 adultes) pour faire la visite.

Itinéraire
C'est un pont médiéval du XIVème siècle. Il y a de l'eau qui coule en dessous toute l'année. La végétation est différente à chaque saison. Il est situé dans le sud du pays, près de la frontière espagnole, à environ 850 mètres d'altitude. Près du pont est connu pour habiter les premiers habitants du territoire actuel d’Andorre, il ya environ 12 000 ans.
C'est une ancienne maison où a eu lieu le gouvernement d'Andorre depuis 1580 jusqu'en 2011. L'entrée du lieu est volontaire, et coûte 5 €. Si certains membres ne sont pas intéressants à Casa de la Vall, ils peuvent passer 1 heure à faire du shopping et à marcher dans les rues de la vieille ville d'Andorre-la-Vieille.
C'est un point de vue spectaculaire situé à environ 1 950 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer. De cet endroit, nous pouvons voir une sculpture en fer blanc représentant un homme regardant les vues entourées d'une plate-forme en verre du fond. Les vues sur la montagne appartiennent à la paroisse de Canillo: capitale et certains de leurs environs comme certains pics et pistes de ski. Le sommet des montagnes aura un peu de neige au moins 10 mois par année. C'est un arrêt facultatif et le coût est de 5€ par personne (non inclus; si le café est fermé, ils n'accepteront que le paiement en espèces en euros).
Le nom de cette attraction est juste Ordino. Un petit village, chef-lieu d'une des sept communes d'Andorre. À Ordino, nous pouvons marcher dans les rues étroites où nous pouvons voir quelques maisons du XVIIe siècle, une belle église, des maisons familiales, et même quelques cafés dans la rue principale. Je peux aussi vous montrer un autre charmant village en Andorre, plus petit qu'Ordino et avec presque aucun service, mais ce sera un secret entre vous et moi.
De la croissance rapide de la seconde moitié du XXe siècle, il reste encore quelques villes préservant le charme du passé. Un de ces exemples est Ordino. À Ordino, nous pouvons marcher dans les rues de la vieille ville où nous visiterons quelques maisons du XVIIe siècle, comme la Casa Rosell ou la Casa Areny-Plandolit, ainsi que son église barroque, Saint Corneille et Saint Cebrian. Pour ceux qui préfèrent regarder une très vieille église construite au Moyen Âge je peux vous recommander Sant Miquel d'Engolasters (XII siècle) ou Santa Coloma (fin VIII-début IX siècle), cette dernière coûte 7€ et comprend un petit musée avec une expérience audiovisuelle et montre trois vieux tableaux XII-XIII, arrachés au XX siècle des églises andorranes mais récupérés par le pays.

Antonio was a great and very knowledgeable guide. He was on time and communicative and Andorra was stunning - we went all over the little country and it has it all, from old medieval churches to picturesque mountains. Antonio knew lots of interesting places to hit as well as great photo spots. Since I was the only traveler that day it was very relaxed and I had a lot of say in the itinerary, I imagine it's a bit different with more of a group, but nonetheless I would highly recommend. I also didn't mind the long drive from Barcelona - Antonio's car was comfortable and the scenery in Spain is beautiful, and Antonio had a lot of information and history about Andorra along the way.

Andorra is underrated yet its Pyrenees mountain features have the touch of the Swiss Alps that we enjoyed wading through flowing springs and some snow caps even during Spring. Thanks to Anton our guide who was very knowledgeable about Andorra from its geography, history, and current affairs. He was very good at driving us around the best spots and on time. He was very flexible and he customized our trip based on our interests and the needs of the kids. He was very helpful and answered all our questions, and knew a lot about the place that makes you love Andorra more. Plus, we were able to have our passports stamped with official Andorra border entry stamp.

Had a brilliant trip front start to finish on our tour of Andorra, perfect itinerary for the day, didn’t feel rushed and had plenty of time to explore. The Alpine views and snowy peaks were lovely and we had one of the best meals on our trip at a local spot nestled in the mountains that we were dropped off at! This tour is quite a commitment, however, due to the amount of driving involved from Barcelona - much more time than we anticipated, but it’s the only way to get there (no airports or trains go to Andorra) and the van was comfortable. Most of what we saw was while driving and a few brief spots for pictures. We didn’t get to stroll through any medieval towns or walk any suspension bridges as pictured, but, to be fair, the itinerary seemed limited/fluid due to the daylight hours we had in mid-November. We did walk around a 8th century church that pretty cool tho. Those going during different seasons would likely have a different experience. I would recommend to those going to do some research on Andorra and chat with Antonio about the specific itinerary prior to make sure you don’t miss anything you want to see or see pictured with the tour.
Thanks for this review. It is not a secret than Andorra is 3h from Barcelona. Maybe a little bit less if you don't start from the Barcelona center and don't stop on the way. Anyways much less drive than in the 3 countries in 1 day. In this daytrip in particular, there was a family with a couple of member celiacs and the lunch time took us 1h30 min in your restaurant. As you said in this season days are shorter and sus sets about 5.30 am in Barcelona (even a bit before that in the mountains). The andorra old towns are not medieval because most of the oldest houses are from 17th century or newer (most of the andorra construction is new). The only medieval buildings in the country are the 32 oldest churches romanesque and prerromanesque and a medieval bridge.
If you’re wondering whether to book this excursion, don’t hesitate because this trip was well worth it! Antonio knew all the most beautiful places to stop for postcard-like pictures, and he and the driver were more than accommodating. My husband and son are both celiac, and he made sure we got to a restaurant that was gluten free during the trip. I would highly recommend this trip to see the quaint towns in Andorra!
