Great tour. The helicopter ride to the glacier was short but had amazing views. The guides and mushers at camp were friendly and very knowledgeable. Riding on the dog shed was incredible. We really enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend.

We're happy to hear you enjoyed your experience with us!
We absolutely loved this excursion. The helicopter ride gave us some amazing views that you would not see from the ground. Great time mushing around the camp, petting puppies, and snow sledding. Once in a lifetime type of experience. I highly recommend it.
We are glad that you had great views that allow you to see Alaska differently, and a fun time at dog camp! Thank you so much for flying with us!
One of the most exhilarating experiences that I have had, Starting with the helicopter!! Highest standards and safety. I loved every miniue of it. Dogs were friendly and pettable. i am trying to adopt a puppy!!
We are glad that you had a wonderful time flying with us, Vonda! I hope you adopt a puppy soon, and that petting the puppies on the glacier helped! Thank you for leaving a review!
First time vacation to Alaska. This was awesome. Either the helicopter ride or the sled dogs would have been enough by themselves, but together it was over the top. They provide outerwear so we really don’t need anything other than a light jacket. Even gave us gloves to wear.
Thank you for your kind words Sarah!
Safe, informative, fun they take very good care of the dogs. Great experience. Would definitely recommend.
Thank you for your kind words Ellen!
We had a blast getting up to the camp and playing with the puppies. The staff give you an incredible amount of information and the ride was so unique. This is an experience like no other and I’d recommend it to everyone coming to Alaska.
We are happy you enjoyed yourself and thank you for your recommendation!
We just finished the helicopter tour and dog sledding adventure and if I could give this experience 100 stars I would!!! The staff, pilots and mushers were all so amazing, you could tell they love what they’re doing. And the dogs!!!!! As the mushers were getting them harnessed and lined up they were rip roaring and ready to run!! You could just feel their excitement and the energy running through them. Then we got to love on the puppies, the future Iditarod runners and they were simply adorable 🥰. This is quite possibly the most amazing thing we’ve ever done!
Kym, I’m thrilled to hear that you had such an amazing time dogsledding! Our whole team (including the sled doggies ;) loved being able to share this experience with you! - Sofie
This was an absolutely amazing experience. Weather delayed our flight, but the Alpine Air team were so helpful in getting us scheduled on the next available flight. Dana picked us up from Captain Cook Hotel and was a joyful and knowledgeable shuttle guide. Our pilot was fantastic and gave us an incredible flight over, pointing out moose and Dall sheep. Katie was our musher. She was an expert sled dog guide and gave us a truly memorable experience on the sled with the dogs. She answered all of our questions about the dogs, sled racing, the training process. Then we got to interact with a new litter of future sled dog puppies, playing and holding them in their pen. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience, but if you're making the journey all the way to Alaska, this would be something to splurge on if it's in your budget, and maybe something totally worth stretching the budget for. Highly recommend the Alpine Air team!
It’s great to hear that your group had such a lovely time with our entire crew! Thank you for the great review and I’m sure the puppies appreciated the snuggles! - Sofie
Do not miss this! What an exciting adventure we had! From the helicopter ride up the mountain to the ride back down, every second was exciting and thrilling. I am a scaredy cat but felt perfectly safe the entire trip. Everything was explained and safety was their first priority. The mushers were great and we learned so much about the Alaskan Iditarod. The dogs were happy to get hooked up to the sled and excited to run. The mushers knew them all by name and obviously cared very much for them. We even go to hold some adorable puppies! This will always be the highlight of our trip to Alaska!
Robert, I’m stoked to hear that we were the highlight of your Alaskan adventure! - Sofie
