Titia sent a message the day before to establish a meeting point. She gave a great description so we could identify her. When we met she was immediately welcoming. She started with a great description of the history of the building and the architecture, then walked us through the art in a logical way, ending on a wonderful painting that is her favorite of the collection. We truly connected with her not just from a shared love of Van Gogh, Vermeer, Rembrandt, and the influence of Italian artists like Caravaggio, but on a more personal level. Titia is kind, funny, open, and so very easy to talk to. Yes, she has an art history degree, but more importantly she is a lovely human and communicator. Highly recommend her tour. We loved Titia and totally enjoyed our time with her.

I took a morning for myself to take the tour with Florentine and thoroughly treasured every moment. Her expertise and insight into the art really made it come alive. If you want to learn about the artists and their works, this is the tour to take. Easy meet up and quick entry allowed for maximum time in the museum as well.
We were so pleased we took this small group private tour, with Titia as our guide. She was delightful, professional and very knowledgeable, as she guided us through and helped us understand at a deeper level, the dynamics of each piece we viewed, as well as providing us with their historical context, in addition to the history of the Museum as well. I learned so much from our Amor Artium Guide. I learned about Amsterdam through the paintings of Rembrandt and the other Dutch Masters.
