I recently did a walking tour of Jaipur followed by a guided tour of Amer Fort, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The guide Viru was extremely knowledgeable, providing fascinating insights into the 16th-century history of the fort. Amer Fort itself is a stunning architectural masterpiece, and the step wells were a unique highlight of the tour. The two-hour guided tour was definitely worth doing. It was informative, engaging, and gave a real sense of the fort's grandeur and historical significance. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Jaipur!"

Magnificent fort in Jaipur to do with Guide to fully understand the history of its splendid monuments. Possibility to ride on elephant or jeep. Indian art in all its forms
Jaipur's Amer Fort, a majestic giant of pink sandstone, offers a glimpse into the lives of not just the king, but also the maharaja's wives, revealing the stories of the royal palace and its inhabitants. Peek into the Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors), a hall that shimmers like a giant disco ball with a single candle, where the queens once relaxed. Explore the zenana, the queens' quarters, filled with intricate carvings, walls adorned with colourful murals, hidden courtyards, and lush gardens. The architecture is astounding: intricate carvings, mirrored halls, and hidden courtyards create a captivating experience. Each turn reveals a discovery - a secret passage, a stunning view, or a reminder of the fort's rich history. To celebrate womanhood, the Rajasthan government offers free entry for women across Rajasthan on Women's Day.
We did the Amber Palce Tour with Sid, who is a knowledgeable and friendly guide. He answered all of our questions and guided us to the best vantage spots for photos. And he also takes a great photo too!
We had a great guide, Sid, who explained each section of the fort in detail and related history & architecture. He new all the write places to take family photos. Above all, he taught our kids to be animal loving & friendly.
Raju is an exceptional guide. He has excellent French and we immediately feel very comfortable with him. He is a native of Amber who knows the history of the site as well as the surroundings and local life. Thanks to him we discovered some aspects of Indian culture and had a great time. Do not hesitate to call on Raju for your stay in Jaipur and Amber!
a real good time with advice to come earlier to avoid the crowds of tourists, golden advice because we visited the Fort almost alone with super clear explanations and answers to all our questions really I recommend!
We loved the visit to Amber Fort, but what we love the most was Raju (the guide). He is very calm, nice and intelligent. You can just feel that he really loves his job and really wants to help you and explain all the things from his beautiful culture. He took us through alternative paths where we didn't find tourist people and any guy that wanted to sell you something. It was very relaxing after the first intens days in India. After 5 minutes you forget that he is your guide and he became a friend of us. I recommend 100%. He also has good people working with him (like tuktuk riders) that take you back home showing you more beautiful places for a very very low price (and believe me, having the same driver all the time reduces a lot the energy that you have to spend negociating every time a new tuktuk ride). Don't look anymore... if you are going to Jaipur, contact him!!!
Amazing tour with Raju. He is incredibly knowledgeable of the Fort history and architecture. He also knows many facts that you can't find online or on books! Really Great guide and person, definitely recommend. Perfectly fluent in both English and French. He also gave us extra tips to navigate Jaipur and where to eat and things to do! Super recommended
