Amateurs de vin: Visite de cave avec dégustation et tapas (Albufeira/Vilamoura)

A really enjoyable couple of hours spent at the winery learning about wine making. The wines were delicious and it was a stunning place to enjoy the afternoon. When we visited it was a very hot day. I would advise to take water with you.

Good and interesting talk by guide. Very hot so little running in the field, good wines we tasted.

This was a great winery tour… very informative. The wine and charcuterie were delicious. Be careful (not sure if it was a tour company error or viator) , I chose my pick up spot and they changed it. We drove a half hour longer than we needed to, right past where we needed to be. No email, just said amended on reservation and had a new pick up place. It was a ways out of the way.

Great tour! My mum and I wanted a day out and this was just perfect. Our guide / owner was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, which made the experience both informative and enjoyable. The vineyard itself was beautiful, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. The winery building, where all the magic happens, was fascinating to see. We especially enjoyed the tasting room, which overlooked the production area and gave us a unique view of the winemaking process while sampling the wines along side some tapas. Overall, it was a fantastic tour from start to finish. We also had the opportunity to purchase some wine at the end, which was perfect for enjoying during the rest of our holiday. Highly recommended!

Was a nice little outing and learned a little bit about this history of wine growing in portugal. Lovely time.

Nice interesting and informative tour. Lovely wine tasting and tapas. Friendly driver and tour guide. Small negatives, no air con in transport, not enough tapas! But did not spoil the experience.

Our driver was very courteous and brought us delicious custard pies. Edgar, who gave us the winery tour and tasting, was the most informative winery guide I’ve ever had. His wines show his passion for wine. It’s obvious that both of them love what they do.

The tour was good but found out the group we were on paid about 30 pounds whilst we paid 50. They even have a safari’sh tour prior to the wine tasting. How does that work.

We were picked up at our Hotel by Emanuel after booking online The winery was about a half an hour drive from Vilamora near to Albufeira A guide takes you around the Quinta and explains the process 4 glasses of wine and some cheese meat and crackers On our pick up Emanuel bought us a home made pastel de Nata and an almond liqueur which was a nice touch We found the whole trip 3 hours was very interesting and a beautiful venue

Good explanation about winemaking by tour. Then 4 wines tasted with a small explanation and something delicious. Afterwards the driver and special pastry from Lisbon and a shot of almond liqueur received. Then tourist route back, stopped at cork tree where we got one piece of cork. Nice guests, highly recommended!
