Our limoncello-making experience at Antichi Sapori d’Amalfi was, without question, the highlight of our entire Italy trip. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this is a true family-owned business built on passion, tradition, and genuine hospitality. Vittario and his mom made us feel like we were guests in their home rather than customers. Their warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm were contagious. What made this experience so special wasn’t just learning how authentic limoncello is made—it was the incredible storytelling. Vittario shared the history, traditions, and family heritage behind limoncello with so much passion that every step felt meaningful. He also did an amazing job including everyone in the group, making it interactive, fun, and engaging regardless of age or experience. You can tell this isn’t just a demonstration—it’s a family proudly sharing a piece of their culture with visitors from around the world. What a phenomenal experience! Victor is a third generation owner and told us all about the history of their llimoncello making shop. The presentation and hands-on experience occurred right in their kitchen inside their family-run business and the only Limoncello laboratory still active in the historic Almalfi coast. It was so informative and I just love the passion that Victor and his family have for the art of making pure limoncello (without preservatives)and artificial flavord!! We really enjoyed this experience and highly recommend!
This was such an amazing experience! Out of every activity we’ve done on vacation in Italy, this was my favorite. Vittorio and his entire family made the experience wonderful! We learned so much and had a great time! I highly recommend this!!!
We had an awesome time learning about how to make authentic Amalfi limoncello. Our host was fun, engaging and did a heart job of giving a thorough overview of how they make this authentic liqueur. You also get to try an large range of their homemade liqueurs from limoncello, meloncello, limoncello crème, lemon and ginger liqueur etc the experience is roughly 1 hour long which is perfect..
An absolute must do event; what an experience; everything we thought we knew about making Limoncello was gently corrected

Our host Vittorio was incredible! It was so fun to learn about the history of limoncello making, tasting his amazing creations and try our hand at making some. The shop is family run and Vittorio's passion for the craft and history of limoncello are what make this experience truly special. The proprietor, was passionate about his craft and the class went very fast (too fast) as we were enjoying it so much. We learned a lot and now I find myself checking bottles of limoncello where ever i go now. The class was fun, informative and he even shared his wife’s amazing lemon cake recipe as well as his grandfather’s original limoncello recipe. This turned out to be just a wonderful experience.
What an experience, so fun, so personal, the knowledge & love in this family for Limoncello is the best bar none. What makes this tour stand out over any other tour we've done is, you get to put the apron on (lemon themed apron of course) roll your sleeves up and get peeling & then add those peels to a new batch. P.S the homemade lemon cake is OOTW!!! I genuinely can't recommend this tour enough!!! Perfetto 🫶🏻
