Ce parc est l’un des plus anciens d’Almaty, où se trouve la cathédrale de la Sainte Ascension (la plus ancienne cathédrale d’Almaty), l’édifice le plus emblématique de la ville. Dans le parc, vous verrez également le mémorial de la Seconde Guerre mondiale et le mémorial de la guerre d'Afghanistan, dédiés à la mémoire des combattants morts pour la liberté et l'indépendance du pays.
Le prochain arrêt sera Zelenyi Bazar (Green Bazar). Historiquement, ce bazar a attiré les habitants de la ville pour leurs achats d'épicerie, leur commerce et leurs commérages. Green Bazar est aujourd'hui un lieu incontournable à Almaty. Les produits frais, les plats kazakhs authentiques, les fruits secs et bien sûr la viande ne sont que quelques raisons de vivre ce lieu authentique
La rue Arbat est la principale rue commerçante d’Almaty, à explorer à pied. En descendant, vous pourrez apercevoir une diversité de zones commerciales et de restaurants. Pour le rendre plus beau, la rue Arbat est alignée avec des expositions de sculptures de fontaines. Les artistes et artisans locaux vendent leurs chefs-d’œuvre.
La rue Panfilov est une autre rue piétonne magnifique qui vous aidera à plonger dans un véritable esprit de vie à Almaty. En passant, vous découvrirez des chefs-d’œuvre d’architecture de l’ère soviétique. En plus de tout cela, c'est un lieu de prédilection pour les artistes de rue, alors la musique live et les spectacles de rue faciliteront votre voyage.
Le théâtre d'opéra et de ballet sera la fin de votre voyage. Le théâtre Abai est situé sur la rue Kabanbai Batyr. qui est aussi appelée la rue Broadway d'Almaty en raison de son emplacement central, de son importance culturelle, de ses restaurants accueillants.

Although it was hot, the tour was really enjoyable, interesting and informative. The tour guide certainly knew his stuff and provided a wealth of historical and cultural information about Almaty and Kazakhstan in general. Also, there was interesting info provided on the sites and streets that we saw. I am glad we attended this tour.
Beautiful city. It was the capital. Picturesque and nostalgic .Beautiful parks and walks. Orthodox churches. Nice typical restaurants. There's the chocolate factory where you can shop and the instrument museum
Guide was able to really provide solid informed information about the history across all aspects. It was a good introduction to the country and helped pull the threads together from my visit to the museum. He made this a personalised tour and we covered quite a lot of highlights! This is good if you don’t have a lot of time or want to take a deeper dive into history and key differences in culture and some regions of Kazakhstan!
Great introduction to Almaty! Chingis was an excellent guide - he introduced us to the history, architecture and culture of the city. Although an Almaty local, his English was flawless. We would highly recommend this tour!
Chingis was my tour guide & was in a small group. Chingis was very good at explaining the history & was very knowledgeable. The Cathedral was very interesting & getting to see amazing architecture. We got to see Kazakhstan army practicing their drill. The statues were amazing. There is so much history I learnt. I would highly recommend this tour !
