Great day exploring the countryside of Alberobello! Rocco was great ! He kept in contact with us on Whats App for meeting time & place . Provided us with quality e bikes & gave instruction. Loved the ride through the countryside, visiting the donkey farm & giving them a snack was fun & the owners of the farm were so sweet . Rocco gave us history & pointed out facts of the sites. The family run flour mill was so interesting, we learned the process & got to see the machines in action. We learned about the different flours & their uses . We were then welcomed into the family home and served delicious focaccia , a sailors appetizer , delicious homemade wine & grapes . Enjoyed talking with Rocco through the meal .We then go a tour of Alberobello & learned the history of their independence & went to a beautiful lookout to see the tops of the Trulli .Despite the rainy day , it was an amazing experience & something we will remember after our time in Italy. If you are visiting this area you should do this tour! We recommend Rocco & Tours of Puglia !
Rocco our tour guide was incredible! We have a beautiful day riding through the countryside and learned so much along the way! Highly recommend doing and experiencing the magical place of Alberobello! We made a great friend with Rocco and look forward to bringing our friends and family Back for a visit!
Thank you Gina!!!I wish you all the best!
This was an excellent bike tour in Valle d’Itira, particularly if you want to get off the beaten track and cruise around little known lanes in the countryside. The visit to the flour mill exceeded our expectations. It was really interesting and the hosts so generous with their time and the tastings of local produce. Rocco, our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. With only four on the tour it was perfect. The final stop in Alberobello was brief but also gave time to wander around the trulli at the end of the tour. Thoroughly recommend this experience in beautiful Puglia.
An extraordinary trip. Everything was beautiful: the view, the nature, and the explanation of the history of the trulli and Alberobello. The organizer, Rocco, is very nice. Even the pedal-assisted bikes were of the highest quality. Soon we will do another bike itinerary organized by Rocco!
We booked at the last minute & now so glad we did. Rocco provided us with top quality e-bikes, which we both found easy to use at 62. He guided us through quiet country roads. He pointed out so many interesting sights, including of course Trulli houses. The visit to the family run flour mill was better than we thought. We learnt a lot about the process & the different flours they make & their uses. Angela made us beautiful appetisers with their local produce. We continued riding to a donkey farm. There were several young ones. We didn’t know what to expect and we both loved this part of the tour as well. Rocco made our ride very comfortable. It wasn’t difficult at all. We rode through the streets of Alberrobello, which was fascinating, I highly recommend Tours Puglia and Rocco, who was so knowledgeable & made our visit to Puglia more enriched.
It is a highly recommended experience!!! The e-bike tour in Alberobello led by Rocco is something special, a day that will remain in your heart. Outside of the tourist area, Rocco will accompany you in the beautiful surrounding countryside where you can meet wonderful people who will welcome you as true friends! The visit to the mill is unique, the donkey breeding is fantastic! Everything is told in detail... you will never want to return from the tour!!! And even if the time available was over , Rocco wanted to give us some glimpses of Alberobello, which we would never have seen on our own! If you go to this wonderful city, take advantage of this unique experience... you will be satisfied! Thanks for everything Rocco!
Spectacular! Unique landscapes of the Apulian countryside, bike tour organized down to the smallest detail. Break at the mill where the sweet owner was able to explain the wheat processing process to children and adults! Thanks again for the focaccia we all devoured! Break to see the sweet donkeys who were asking for cuddles... there my 5 year old daughter literally went crazy with joy. Overall, a fantastic morning. What about the guide Rocco!! A professional, cheerful, funny guide, very patient with children, able to deal with any small problem with a smile and availability. Thank you for the wonderful experience, definitely worth repeating..
