Visite commence à vous accueillir à bord d'un bus conduisant à Matera où vous rencontrerez un guide local expert. Visite à pied du célèbre Sassi, classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Promenez-vous dans les rues labyrinthiques des maisons creusées dans la roche. Visite continue en profitant d'un peu de temps libre pour savourer la cuisine locale et le rythme détendu de la ville avant de partir à Alberobello. Lors d'une visite guidée à pied à travers Aia Piccola et Rione Monti, vous admirerez les maisons trulli caractéristiques. Départ de Piazza Eroi del Mare à Bari en direction de Matera. L'ordre des visites à Matera et Alberobello pourrait être inversé.
Matera, joyau de la Basilicate, est peut-être la troisième plus longue colonie humaine au monde à avoir été habitée en permanence. Des grottes naturelles creusées dans le tuf calcaire, mises au jour lorsque la Gravina a creusé ses gorges, ont attiré les premiers habitants il y a peut-être 7 000 ans. Des structures plus élaborées ont été construites au-dessus d'elles. Aujourd'hui, en regardant de l'autre côté de la gorge vers les sassi (habitations troglodytes) regroupés de Matera, on a l'impression d'avoir été transporté dans l'ancienne Terre Sainte.
L'itinéraire peut varier en fonction des conditions de circulation. L'ordre des visites à Matera et Alberobello pourrait être inversé.
Alberobello, site classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, ressemble à une étendue urbaine pour les gnomes. La zone des trulli, située sur la colline la plus occidentale de la ville, est une masse dense de 1 500 maisons en forme de ruche, aux extrémités blanches comme recouvertes de neige. Ces bâtiments en pierre sèche sont construits à partir de calcaire local ; aucun ne date d'avant le XIVe siècle.
Trajet à bord du minibus pour ne rientrare au point de départ afin de terminer le tour.

Enchanting, and dream like. A must see when you’re in Bari. You can get lost in the city and it’s amazing. The history is felt in every corner you turn. In addition, there are many shops and restaurants to explore as well as beautiful photo backdrops!

Welcome in front of a new and clean mini van, in which we settled for a scenic trip along the Bari seafront, which took us to Alberobello. Extremely professional, smiling and above all helpful guide. She took care of my husband, who after an operation still has difficulty walking, finding the right balance with the rest of the group.
