We had the best tour...

We had the best tour guide Abraham, who knew all things about berber at the atlas mountains. The tour was amazing, including the stops and lunch. Would recommend this tour for couples.

A great private driver!

We had a great time with our private driver, Karim! He was very knowledgable and spent a lot of time taking us to interesting areas in the Atlas Mountains. On our way to Ait Ben Haddou, it snowed! He stopped whenever we wanted to take photos and stopped for us to see some berber carpets on the way. On our way back, we wanted to see the town of Ouarzazate, which was not on our original itinerary. He brought us there anyways! Karim was really wonderful-- we felt in good hands as a driver, and we'd highly recommend going with him. One downside: we did not enjoy our guide at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs, which was not our driver's fault, although the Toubkal Guide company did contract with him. We felt rushed through the tour and he was not very knowledgable about the site. Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs was honestly pretty underwhelming-- seems like a bit of a tourist trap. The best part of our day was the scenic drive!

Unforgettable tour

This Kasbah is a jewel in the middle of the desert. It’s no surprise that several movies were made in it and walking its streets is remembering scenes like Gladiator, Game of Thrones and various others. The alleys sell everything from painting to clothing and crafts. We went up to the top of the guard.

Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs & Atlas Mountains - Day trip from Marrakech - private

We had a great 1-day private trip to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs & Atlas Mountains. Our driver from the start to end was very cordial, friendly, knowledgeable about Moroccan culture, and went out of the way to have a pleasant experience. The guide at the Ait Ben Haddou explained us everything and was very patient with us. We had a great time here. I would definitely recommend Toubkal guide for this trip if you are looking for great experience and value for time and 💰.

Trekking, science views and great company…

Great time with Mohamed. Born and bred locally, with excellent knowledge of the history and terrain of the area. Very attentive to our needs and arranged a freshly prepared locally sourced meal for lunch. Stunning idyllic views and a nice refreshing climate which is a complete contrast to the heat of Marrakesh. Cant recommend Mohamed highly enough and guarantee he will treat you like his own family and take good care of you.

Trip to Ait Ben Haddou

We had an amazing drive through the Atlas Mountains with Ibrahim. Whenever we asked to stop for photos (and there were many beautiful spots along the way), Ibrahim pulled over right away. He was incredibly accommodating and made us feel taken care of throughout the 2 day trip. When we arrived at Ait Ben Haddou, we met with a local guide, Mohammed, who gave the best possible tour. He shared the history, language, and even stories of films made here. He was very knowledgeable and kind.

Excellent experience. Would recommend

We had a fantastic day. Our driver Ibrahim was very knowledgeable, safe and went out of his way to give us a good experience. Mohammad, our guide kept us entertainment the entire walk and the food and facilities at the Kasbar Africa was lovely. There were lots of lovely cats and dogs to make friends with on the way! We enjoyed our experience and would definitely book for a longer tour with the same people in the future. Thank you

Oued Mellah Route Via Telouet and Ait Ben Haddou

Abdulrrahim was our tour guide and driver through Oued Mellah Route or the Salty River Route that extends from High Atlas down to the valleys and oasis in the South. Telouet Kasbah and Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - with the last one being part of Unesco Heritage - are some of the amazing debris of this old ancient trading route. Once again, highly appreciated the simpathy and kindness of this amazing Toubkal Guide's Crew!! (And by the way thanks for the 30dirrham Tagine negotiation 😉!) Best Wishes, Laura&Salim
