Visite à pied d'Agra

Description

Amit our guide was full of energy & very knowledgeable. Good fun too! We hopped on the metro, walked the busy streets & alleyways, jumped on & off TukTuk’s. Saw some real India. Recommended.
I had the opportunity to visit the Kinari bazaar leaving my visit to the Jama Mashid Mosque in Agra, it is a very colorful market and full of life, where thousands of items are offered, I was very struck by the beautiful wedding costumes, it is a place to be distracted and appreciate
The description says pickup is included. This meant the guide would greet us at the hotel and then ask us to pay for a tuk tuk to the start location. All in all the walk lasted for less than an hour. We visited a mosque and were asked to pay for a man to look after our shoes for less than 10 mins. We were taken through a crazy market full of honking vehicles and gridlocked traffic with people. The guide said little during the way other than lead us through the horrific traffic. We did not learn anything about the history of the place or anything remotely interesting. We made our way back after the tour but not before the guide offered his services the next day. Would not recommend this tour to anyone. Honestly waste of time and money. Not sure where all the previous positive reviews came from. We have been on lots of guided tours in the past and we have lots to compare this tour with. This was not a good tour. Tip to the organiser to improve the experience - arrange a meeting point that is central which can be accessed easily, when you advertise "pick up in included" this means that the person should be picked up from the location, consider telling people much more about the history of the place and engage the customer by asking questions, simply pointing to something in a market and saying "this is the wedding section" is not enough, any costs that need to be spent by the guest needs to be mentioned in the booking upfront and finally if the tour is advertised as 2-3 hours then it should be 2-3 hours and not 50 mins.
Dear Sir, We sincerely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, as we always strive to provide enriching and immersive tours. It's the 1st time in 6 years that we got a 1-star review. The guide is deeply sorry as well. We will not be using him until he gets better. We had an internal meeting to discuss this and the guide is very sorry as well. He is a new team member but that doesn't give us an excuse for this. For the pick-and-drop, there was confusion we always include the payments for the vehicle. We will be happy to refund that. For the payment at the mosque, its not mandatory and it's 10/20 rupees as charity to the guy. We know this was a fault from our guide and if you would have contacted at that time, we would have offered a better experience! Wish to serve you in future.
Ritik was a great guide full of insights from the origins of Agra to the present day. We strolled through markets, visited a Shiva Temple and saw some wonderful handicraft art. Ritik gives a great feel if the city, what it is like to live here today and what some of his favorite places are. We talked about weddings, fashion, food and mogul kings and dynasties and the art of driving in Agra! If you really want to feel at home in Agra and love history, culture and the city experience would really recommend this tour. Thank you Ritik for great fun and conversation along the way …
It was a truly informative and interesting walk.Ritik was very good at explaining the history and culture of the old city. We also savored the local cuisine and the local handicrafts (zardosi) Thank you Rithik for an immersive experience..
A really simple and easy walking your around the Agra station and Mosque. Ritik was easy company (and restored my faith back in guides of Agra) he was very knowledgeable of the history of this region. A little bit of everything in this short trip; a spicy drive, tasty refreshments, some mixed hidden temple time, and just easy conversation. We almost blended in, and I loved it.
Absolutely interesting and great tour. you will have a walk in the lively old streets of Agra and appreciate the mix of cultures that met and overlapped across time here. Ritik has been an awesome guide and gave a very detailed historical and cultural insight at every stop of the tour. I really enjoyed it all i would recommend this tour to anyone in Agra.
Wonderful tour! Totally unconventional, the guide takes us on a walk through the village and around the Taj Mahal. With this, we began to understand a little more about the local experience and culture. Plus, we ended up in a beautiful spot with incredible sunsets! It was a great experience!
The guide took us to hidden spots around taj mahal, throught the small streets of the old town, and we had an amazing and empty view from the sunset. We went to a really fancy bar with Taj view for a beer after sunset. I highly reccomend him for a non obvious walking tour in Agra
Wonderful guide, excellent itinerary —quite personal & customized. I got a more intimate experience than any other and truly felt like it was a peek into authentic local life. The guide took care of transportation, entry and even snacks/refreshments. Awesome value!
