My guide Abdel Latif was great! He was very accommodating and made the day unforgettable. Great fun, good food, and amazing experience!
Salma was an excelent Guide, she take care of the group and explain us everithing. Salma makes us feel like family. Gràcies per tot khati!
Was a really good trip. Enjoyed the quad bikes and camel ride. Food was really nice and the night time entertainment was excellent. Our guide Abdellatif was really friendly and looked after us all and made sure we were ok 👍
This excursion was very disappointing. Everything was very disorganized and unplanned. The tour guide never provided a clear agenda or explained anything. The camel ride and show a total waste of time and money.
We had an amazing experience in the Agafay Desert, and our guide Monceef and driver Acheaf made the whole trip unforgettable. From start to finish, they were friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. The quad biking was exciting, the camel ride was peaceful, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. Monceef shared interesting information about the area, was always happy to answer our questions, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Marrakech. Thank you for an incredible adventure—we’ll definitely remember it!
This is the email I sent to the organiser who has not replied: "Dear Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally raise a serious complaint regarding our recent excursion (details below). We are contacting you directly to seek a resolution before publishing our feedback on TripAdvisor. Our experience fell vastly short of what was advertised, ruined by unsafe equipment, poor logistics, and misleading activities. Our specific grievances are outlined below: 1. Dangerous Equipment and Guide Misconduct We paid a premium to secure two individual quad bikes. The vehicles provided were shabby, poorly maintained, and fundamentally unsafe. Unsafe Vehicle: Upon mounting her assigned quad, my wife was told by the guide to switch with me because the other machine was "easier to drive." Mechanical Failure: Shortly into the tour, I had to abandon my vehicle due to severe handling issues. I nearly crashed multiple times fighting to keep it on the path. Severe Defects: The rear right wheel was tilted and wobbling (photo attached), the front tyre was completely bald (photo attached), and the engine repeatedly cut out, compromising the braking system. It failed to restart at all after our break (video and further photos available if required). Guide Misconduct: When I refused to drive the dangerous vehicle, the guide acted with extreme arrogance. He attempted to disprove my claim by recklessly riding the broken machine to the rendezvous point while kneeling on the seat, standing on one side, and speeding. My wife had to pick me up, completely denying us the two-bike experience we paid for. 2. Poor Logistics and Inadequate Tour Guide While our driver was pleasant and helpful, the execution of the day's itinerary was highly flawed: Excessive Travel Times: We spent significantly more time driving between locations than participating in the actual activities. It appeared destinations were chosen based on your profit margins rather than customer experience. Ineffective Guiding: While polite, our minibus guide provided almost no commentary and failed to communicate what to expect next. Despite this lack of effort, she inappropriately suggested at the end of the day for us to leave a positive review because she "was not on a wage." 3. Misleading and Misrepresented Activities Argan Oil Cooperative: The visit to the "Female Argan Oil Cooperative" was an entirely manufactured experience. The venue was a solitary shack in the middle of nowhere. The staff were simply on their phones doom scrolling, and the setup of a single elderly lady grinding oil next to mass-produced, professionally packaged products felt completely disingenuous. Substandard Fire Show: Advertising a "fire show" that consists of a single individual twirling a lighted stick is highly misleading. It lacked the professionalism, scale, and skill expected of a commercial tour performance. Given the severe safety hazards, I look forward to your response and action plan." Perhaps they would care to answer here instead?
I would not recommend this tour based on our experience. The day got off to a very poor start. The bus had no air conditioning and then broke down on the way to the desert. We were left waiting for a replacement bus, which was especially frustrating as we were travelling with two young children. There was also no drinking water provided, so my husband had to leave the bus to find a nearby shop to buy some. The journey itself felt much longer than necessary due to multiple stops, including a photo stop and a visit to a women’s argan oil cooperative. While these may interest some people, we felt they took away from the overall experience. The camel ride was enjoyable, and our children loved it. However, it would have been a nice touch if the staff had offered to take family photos rather than us having to ask. The desert camp, dinner, entertainment, and fire show were the best part of the trip and were very enjoyable. Sadly, by this point our son had become quite unwell. Despite this, no member of staff checked on us or offered any assistance, which we found disappointing and lacking in basic customer care. Overall, there were some enjoyable moments, but the transport issues, lack of water, unnecessary delays, and poor level of customer service meant the experience fell well below our expectations.
Abdellaatif really kind, he guided us really well helped us with anything needed and make the trips in the van very entertaining and fun, music dancing felt like a fun party
This was definitely the highlight of my trip, the most amazing vibes with the most amazing people. Specifically a massive thank you to our guide 'Khadija' for giving us an amazing time, she was very respectful and genuine, made sure we were all okay throughout the whole duration of this activity. The only downside was the lack of AC during the transportation but that has nothing to do with the actual activities itself and our guide. Definitely recommend.
I was disappointed with this excursion and unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. Communication before the trip was poor. We had not heard from the tour guide despite being told we would be contacted the day before the excursion. I had to message through TripAdvisor to ask for confirmation because the email stated a pick-up time of 5:30 pm, whereas the ticket I received said 3:30 pm. We only received a text a couple of hours before departure, and I had to asked our hotel to contact the guide. We were collected along with another group of four girls, which we had not been made aware of beforehand. The air conditioning in the van was very poor. We were seated at the back while other passengers were in the vehicle, the driver kept the windows open, and the journey was very uncomfortable due to the heat. During the drive, we stopped at a traditional tea hut, which was pleasant, but we felt we spent too long there and eventually asked the driver if we could continue as they could not speak english. Throughout the journey, the driver did not provide any information about Marrakech or the surrounding area, which we found unusual as we expected some commentary. When we arrived, the “desert” location was not what we had expected and did not feel like a true desert experience. We also had to wait around for quite some time before being able to ride the camels. Again no information as other groups were getting information from their drivers while waiting. After the camel ride, we were taken for dinner and the evening show. The meal consisted of couscous and a tagine, but we were told they had run out of the vegetarian option, which was disappointing. We asked if they could give us an ice cream each but they said they couldn't. The entertainment was also not what we expected. It began with a traditional Moroccan band singing and playing instruments, which was enjoyable. However, immediately afterwards, the music changed to songs such as the “Macarena” and “Freed From Desire”, which felt completely out of place and took away from the authentic atmosphere. The fire show was fairly basic, with one performer using fire sticks, although the final performance with the illuminated spinning wheel was the highlight of the evening. Overall, the excursion did not match the description or our expectations. Better communication, clearer information about the transport arrangements, improved organisation, and a more authentic experience would have made the trip enjoyable.
