Rendez-vous sur le site historique de Pnyx pour une séance interactive, avec dialogues et jeux de rôles. Devenez citoyen d'Athènes classique, en votant et en parlant sur une question de ville, à travers un voyage 2500 ans dans le temps. Découvrez l'ancienne démocratie à l'endroit inspiré qui a accueilli les Assemblées publiques athéniennes, avec vue directe sur l'Acropole, à côté des marches sculptées de l'estrade de l'orateur. - Cet atelier est une expérience en plein air et nécessite donc du beau temps. En cas d'annulation en raison du mauvais temps, vous serez averti au moins 3 heures à l'avance et vous aurez la possibilité de choisir entre une date différente, un atelier similaire ou un remboursement complet.
- La langue est un anglais simple. Il n'y aura pas de mots ou de terminologie difficiles.
- Il n'y a pas de toilettes ou de cantines sur la colline - vous pouvez en trouver une à proximité du point de rendez-vous.
- Étant donné que cet atelier a lieu sur un site historique, impliquant des aspects patrimoniaux et culturels, tous les participants sont tenus de respecter l’éthique, le droit et une étiquette de conduite respectueuse (sobriété, propreté, prise de vue photo / vidéo, code vestimentaire, son, etc.) poli pendant toute la session. Notre facilitateur a le droit de mettre fin à votre participation sans aucun remboursement si votre comportement est irrespectueux vis-à-vis du lieu ou des personnes.
- Convient aux adultes et adolescents de plus de 10 ans. Les participants mineurs NE PEUVENT PAS réserver seuls, au moins un adulte devrait réserver aussi, qui est également responsable de les superviser.
- Assister à cet atelier dans un espace public signifie que vous consentez à la prise de photos/vidéos qui peuvent avoir lieu au cours de ce service, y compris la publication future de ce matériel par nous ou par les autres participants. Vous pouvez retirer votre consentement à tout moment (avant ou après l'atelier) en nous contactant par écrit. Nous ne serons pas tenus responsables des photos et vidéos de vous, prises par d’autres au cours de nos services et de l’utilisation de ces photos et vidéos par ces tiers.
- Les animateurs/instructeurs sont formés et certifiés en premiers soins. Cependant, selon la loi, ils ne sont pas autorisés à fournir de médicaments, veuillez donc avoir vos médicaments avec vous (en particulier pour les allergies, puisque vous serez à l'extérieur).
- Il y aura 300 m de marche en montée pour arriver à la plateforme des enceintes Pnyx, ce qui pourrait être physiquement exigeant. Veuillez vous assurer que vous portez des chaussures et des vêtements confortables et convenablement ajustés pour permettre une pleine participation.

My family very much enjoyed the "Democracy" experience. Really set the stage for our exploration of Athens & environs. The role playing and activities were exceptionally good. Brought the ruins to life; then and now. Highly recommend!

Great fun being Athenians on Pnyx Hill! Eleneora was really lovely and engaged our Ancient Greeks enthusiastic child really well! We were lucky to be the only ones in the workshop and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! Highly recommend and really want to come back to do the philosophy workshop one day!

I was very pleased to have organized and participated in an engaging and highly experiential workshop on ancient Athenian democracy and its lesson for today. Facilitated by the enthusiastic Renia and Alexi, I watched as the group of university students that I had brought from Toronto, Canada, who did not have a background in philosophy, classics nor political science, become willing to actively listen and participate in the workshop was illuminating. I appreciated the clarity of the instructional materials and case study scenarios and the opportunity to perform historically signifiant roles, thereby giving students insights into Athenian social organization and political and civic life. The various activities, including one in which involved testing students and staging a competition on their knowledge acquisition of the various monuments and relics at Pynx Hill was enthralling. Hellas Revival was a pleasure to work with administratively as well. Highly recommended.

We did the Democracy program in Pnyka and had a fantastic time!!!! The organization was perfect and the people wonderful!!! Amazing experience, we all loved it! It is a fun and educational activity and I highly recommend it for families with teenagers as ours. My son proved himself a great orator, while my daughter surprised us with her solid arguments. It was definitely the best couple of hours that we spent together as a family in Athens.

Unique and authentic experience, we got substantial information on how politics evolved until the birth of democracy 2500 years ago, and then we acted as citizens, spoke and took decisions and voted on ostrakons! Olga was an amazing instructor she makes it look as if we knew many things already. The place is also wonderful, it is the real location where the ancient people gathered to vote, right opposite the Acropolis with great view.

Cannot recommend it enough! Beautiful location with Acropolis view, very close to Acropolis. The tour was amazing! Best thing my family did in Athens (3 teen girls) ! Learned a lot about the history, but most important in a fun way, we spoke, we voted, we took roles. My teens did not allow me to show the action pictures, but well I hope I gave an idea. The price is for 5 persons.
