Wonderful days spent in a wonderful landscape! It's a magical land, totally different from anything I've seen before. Everything was even better thanks to the guide, Daniel, who made this experience even more enjoyable and unforgettable. Highly recommend!
We had a noce time and exploration together with Dutch Daniel. It was a great day with watching different locations on the tour.
Daniel did a great job in tour. He explained things well and we enjoyed our trip. He helped us down strep slopes and took a lot of photos of us.
Great day tour! Robin, our guide, is well prepared and experienced. It was a pleasure to discover the beautiful Abisko and Björkliden. During the road, we saw wildlife also (moose, reindeers and a red fox).
Beautiful National Park. Daniel, the guide, unrecommended!
We had a fantastic day trip to Abisko National Park with Daniel in early February. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the area. Daniel shared great insights, made sure everyone was comfortable in the cold, and took us to stunning viewpoints we wouldn’t have found on our own. The winter landscapes were breathtaking, and the whole experience felt smooth, personal, and memorable.
We had such a great time on the Abisko day trip with Daniel the Vampire! Everything was well organized, and Daniel made the whole experience fun, engaging, and memorable. Abisko was absolutely beautiful, and we learned a lot while enjoying the stunning scenery. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a fun and unique day out. Thanks, Daniel!
We did a full day trip to Abisko and Björkliden from Jukkasjärvi, and it was truly unforgettable. Leonie was our guide, and from the very start it was clear we were in excellent hands. The day began early around 8:30am, and by the time we reached Kiruna the van was full. We had a group with a wide range of physical abilities, and Leonie was incredibly patient and attentive, making sure everyone felt safe, included, and never rushed. She took us through the Abisko National Park and then down toward the frozen lake. This was the most physically demanding part of the day. The path was icy and quite steep, with very little to hold onto besides trees. The Abisko National Park hike was very easy and she will drive down to the lake so that gives you an opportunity to change clothes if needed. If you are doing the lake tour, I highly recommend wearing waterproof pants and bringing ice cleats, the slip on traction grips that go over your boots. They would make a big difference here. I realized I could not safely walk down and ended up sliding part of the way instead, which honestly felt like the safest option in that moment. It was completely worth it. (The sliding down was kind of fun though) Reaching the frozen lake below the mountain was breathtaking. There really are no words for the experience. Standing there, surrounded by ice, silence, and scale, felt surreal. As expected, what goes down must also come back up. The hike back took a bit longer, but there was no pressure and no stress. Afterward, we had lunch at the lodge in Björkliden, which was incredibly cozy. The fish pie was delicious, and the views alone were worth lingering for. After lunch, we headed back to camp feeling tired in the best way. Leonie went out of her way all day to explain even the smallest details, which made the experience feel thoughtful and deeply personal rather than just another tour. This was truly a trip of a lifetime and without question the best birthday trip I could have imagined. I will never forget it.
This tour was a highlight of my three-week trip to Sweden and Norway. My guide, Daniel, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive to his guests. He made sure everyone had fun and felt included, even bringing a sled for the children in the group to try out. The tour itself was fantastic, featuring some breathtaking views in Abisko and surrounding areas and the hikes were all short and sweet. My favorite part of the trip was getting to walk onto a huge frozen lake, which made me feel tiny! Lunch was also fantastic and even had a delicious vegan-friendly option. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see some nature around Kiruna!
Daniel is awesome and endured my chatty self for too many hours. I have very little balance so he made sure I felt supported. The is one or two steep parts of the walk - just get on your bum and bum-ski down. A hiking pole would have been nice so make sure you carry one or crampons/ spikes. Crunchy fresh snow, frozen waterfalls, history and human impact, and a yummy lunch with vegan options and lots of salad. I recommend this tour between aurora hunting to really see the area in the daytime.
You were an amazing guest and we are really happy you had a good time! Daniel
