Fantastic experience from the time we booked till the time we left. Guides and drivers were professional and knowledgeable. The owners took us out for dinner and showed us around town. Right from planning the trip to execution Imraan had it all. He takes time to understand your needs and then recommends a suitable package. Getting visas were a breeze thanks to Imraan's detailed guidance and supporting documents. Then the detailed list of items to bring for the camp he has it all covered with a maternal touch! When we arrived in Nairobi he had arranged pick up and ensured we got to our hotel safely. The very next morning he was there to brief us and introduce us to our lovely guide and driver Abdalla who has more information than Google along with a keen eye that could accurately spot birds, beasts, insects, flora and fauna even whilst driving! Abdalla was incredibly patient during the game drives allowing us to take pictures or simply watch the majestic views before us. His impeccable navigation skills were jaw dropping. We were so fortunate to have him with us! The Mara campsite is like Narnia....you would not know it's delights until you experience it. Nestled in the grasslands close to the river it's a quaint homely set up of tented accomodation with cosy beds and private bathroom. The Masai staff are incredibly warm and zealous. Joseph's cuisine of warm homely delights was the best. The whole vibe took me back to summer holidays at grandparents home. James and Alwyn ensured that we were escorted to our tent safely at night. We had the best sleep with the mellifluous sounds of nature. We were truly spoilt rotten by the team whom we will always findly remember. The stays at Lake Elementaita(Nakuru) and Amboselli were impressive as well. Best camping's USP is that you are treated as family not a guest. If you want to experience living within nature, and hear the sound of animals and birds inhabited in the Masai Mara, the camp site of Best Camping is the place to be. Situated on the banks of Mara river you can see Masai Mara on the other side of the river. An all inclusive safari of Masai Mara was well organised from the time we landed in Nairobi. Best camping also organised our trip to Lake Nakuru, Lake Elementaita and Amboseli. With our knowledgeable and friendly driver Abdalla, our complete Safari in Kenya was a great experience.

The Best trip ever! So much to learn and to see. Kenya is a beautiful county and the people are so very friendly. We visited many national parks, each with its own distinct landscape and animals. The accommodations were excellent. The driver was both courteous and knowledgeable and was always on the lookout for animals. He even spotted a snake skin hanging in a tree and the trail of a snake on the road! We managed to see all the big five. We saw the elusive leopard with a kill in his mouth. The lions were majestic. The elephants were adorable, especially the little ones. Be prepared for heat and dust. Wear sun screen and bug spray, sun glasses and a hat for your game drives. The owners of Best Camping meet with you the day before beginning your safari, review details, answer questions and concerns. A caring, thoughtful, and knowledgeable company. So we just finished with our 6 days safari from Maasai Mara to lake Naivasha and all the way down to Tsavo East. Our experience was just amazing, and all thanks to Best camping for such great organisation! The huge piece of that goes to Paul, our driver / guide! He was just so kind, knowledgeable and attentive! We really enjoyed his company and I highly recommend him! The accomodations were great, especially at the Best camping next to Maasai Mara where the staff made the stay so much more welcoming! They were all so friendly and attentive, they were also cooking all the meals and guarding the camp at night from hyenas, elephants and other wild animals. It is definitely not dangerous, only a great experience when you are surrounded by all of the sounds of wildlife! To wrap it up, I highly recommend booking your safari through Best camping!
