Such an incredible way to visit Machu Picchu. When i look at my plan to visit Cusco, there was an incredible number of tours, I was likely to do all as a long as I could. Therefore, talking with the agency and providing my priorities, they came with this extraordinary plan, I had the chance to fulfil my dreams. We started in Cusco as everyone, then i followed to salt mines (there had a light pink on it). The following plan was to do the Inca Jungle, We didn't have much time to go to Peru AMAZON, but guess what, I got to know a bit of it in this tour, I knew for the first time Macaws (There are no words to described it) we did have fun (Was traveling with my other half) we enjoy biking, rating and zipline. To be honest it has too many activities that I love it. Before we arrive to Machu Picchu, we had to walk from Hidro to Machu Picchu town trough the train rails, we did take lots of photos, there we are stunning. Finally, we reach Machu Picchu Town, it's a lovely town with full of colors (but bit crowded) We did have book this tour 2 moths before our travel dates, so we didn't have any issues, but as I remember there was an issue with "last minute" entrance, in our group there were other couple that booked the tour last minute, so in consequence the company assigned a person just to help and assist them. (far that expected, that's also why I'm writing this, if you are a last-minute traveler, you might be interest) So here is a tip, if you can book tour specially going to Machu Picchu you MUST book it in advance, it's a place you need to plan (month in advance) the require Lost's of procedures and tickets, so we left all of them to arrange to tour company. Then finally Machu Picchu Citadel, it was out of this world, the energy the magnificent of the scenery and constructions. (you need to see it by yourself) To close this journey, the last tour was to Rainbow Mountain, it was a challenge for my legs and lungs, but for my ayer were absolutely fantastic! About the food, there were a variety, Peruvian food it's one the best (so try as much as you can, but be aware of not eating too much on the first day) The accommodation was comfort (We choose with 2-star hotels, you can upgrade if you want, there are plenty of options according to your budget. Finally, I can't thank you enough every person of the Compay (Chullos Travel), they organized everything and made of my desired trips became such a unique experience. We just needed to put energy for each tour. it's worth it!!
