The tour guides are very friendly!
Our guide Brandon was fantastic. We were lucky enough to be the only 2 on tour with him. Loved seeing the local market and trying new foods. Raphael our cook mentor did a great job too. Pisco Sour was the best one we had so far!
I had a great time with Miguel! He was very friendly and took the time to show me different fruits and taught me about Peru. I have a dairy intolerance but Miguel made sure I could eat what I made. He even suggested some classic Peruvian dishes I could try around Lima and in Cusco (where I’ll be heading next). Making the food was fun and the chef teaching me (Lorenza (?)) was very kind as well. It was so cool to try my hand at making traditional dishes! I highly recommend this tour and taking it with Miguel!
Miguel was an excellent guide, gave us excellent recommendations already and commissioned that our experience was unique. All the activities were very interesting and fun. 10000% recommended
The experience started with a trip to a local coffee shop that grows and roasts its own beans. What a treat! I love coffee, and it was great to hear the different ways beans are harvest and to sample the effect on the flavor. I took a bunch of tours in Peru, and Jonathan was a true standout. His English was excellent, and he explained everything slowly and carefully. Can't recommend enough.
Jonathan was amazing. He was super knowledgeable, helpful had a great sense of humour. This experience was a great first day introduction to Lima and some of its amazing flavours!
Jonathan was my tour guide for this trip and was amazing! He went above and beyond in teaching me about local Peruvian fruit/cuisine and answered all queries in a very professional and kind manner. Jonathan made this experience for me a 10/10.
Amazing! Jair was great, he was very friendly and knowledgeable and we had great conversation. The cooking class was so much fun, now we can bring a taste of Peru back home to our kitchen.
The tour started at Terrua Cafe where the owner served us a delicious coffee that is made from beans grown in his farm in the Andes. Then to the market where I tasted my new favorite fruit, chirimonga. In the cooking class we made ceviche and fauna. All this with our delightful guide, Sergio. A well spent 4 hours.
We loved our tour with Sergio!! He shared interesting information about Peruvian food history and culture. We enjoyed cappuccinos at a local cafe, took a walking tour through a local market, and finally learned how to make our own ceviche and causa. Pisco Sours and Chillcanos were also part of the day. We could not have asked for a better experience.
