Four days out in the Tanzanian bush with Suricata Safaris, and honestly, we’re still processing how incredible it all was. Camping under the star-filled sky, hearing distant wildlife calls at night, and waking up to fresh morning air—this group trip was worth every single dollar. ​The real heart of this trip was Jeremy, our guide. You can tell within five minutes of meeting him that he doesn't just do this as a job; he truly loves the wilderness. He has this sharp eye for spotting animals hidden in thick bushes that the rest of us would’ve driven right past. He took time to explain animal tracking, answered our endless questions, and always made sure everyone in the vehicle had a great view for photos. ​Everything arranged by Suricata Safaris was smooth and honest. The camp meals cooked on site were surprisingly fresh and warm, the 4x4 handled the rough terrain effortlessly, and the overall pace felt just right. Simon, our guide, was absolutely wonderful and friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we didn't miss a thing. We visited Tarangire National Park and spotted a great variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, buffalo, banded mongoose, and many more species throughout the day. A huge thank you to Suricata Safaris for organizing such a smooth and memorable experience. To top it all off, the lodge we stayed at was stunning, a true paradise to unwind in after such an incredible day out in the bush. Highly recommend!

Without a doubt it was our best experience ever! Taking a safari was a wish but we never thought it could be so unforgettable. I want to emphasize that, more than the variety of animals we saw during the 4 days in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, it was the people we met who marked us and made this whole adventure even more special. We started with Mercy, who did everything to successfully expedite our flights with the Safari options, as well as all the care and daily support she provided us during these days ♥️ Pius, an excellent cook who accompanied us every day and provided us with many moments of sharing, stories, and great conversations that we will never forget ♥️ And finally, our guide Frank was extraordinary in everything! He guided us through all these wonderful places, explained animal life to us, and answered all our questions, he was an example of what a guide can be! ♥️ We are eternally grateful for having had this experience with Suricata Safaris, especially for having crossed paths with Mercy, Pius, and Frank! I confess that I had to wait a few days to write this review. It was so, so perfect that I needed to let some time pass to realize if it really was like that or if it was just the excitement of the moment. Now, with some distance, I can say: it was even better! They were the best 4 days and 3 nights I remember. I was lucky and managed to see the Big Five, although a friend had told me before starting the trip that "there would only be a 50% chance of this happening." But, in the end, the most incredible thing wasn't what I saw but what I lived. It all started with Mercie's help, patience, enormous friendliness, and speed, who did everything to fit the best possible experience into the schedules and specifics of our flights. And, even after everything was scheduled, there was always the care to do a daily check to know if we were okay. Incredible attention from start to finish. Then, we were lucky enough to find the best travel companions and two of the best members of the Suricata team: Frank and Pius. And, honestly, I don't have enough words to describe each of them. Frank was much more than a driver and guide. It was knowledge, care, sympathy, and experience. It led us, literally and not just, on an unforgettable adventure, inside and outside the Jeep. Always concerned with showing us everything, teaching us even more, and at the same time, always attentive to our needs and desires. And Pius... he fed our stomach and soul. He was a cook, mechanic, and companion every night. They gave us the best pitus and some of the best conversations, on past nights under a completely starry sky, which I thought only existed in The Lion King. I was also lucky enough to share this adventure with incredible people, also Suricata clients with whom I crossed paths at the campsite or even on the road, who started as travel companions and ended up being part of it. We shared stories, experiences, conversations, and, above all, those half-disbelieving smiles of someone looking around and thinking: "Are we really living this?" In the end, I saw the Big Five. I saw zebras and hyenas during the night. I saw thousands of animals and landscapes that still seem unreal to me today. I walked kilometers and kilometers jumping inside a Jeep and fell asleep rocked by those same jolts. I lived things that, before going, I didn't even know were possible to live. But what I brought with me was much greater than everything I saw. They were the people. If we ever come back, it will be a lot because of them. And, especially, of Frank and Pius, for everything they made us live.

A simply fantastic experience, which I will carry in my heart forever. Our guide (Anton) was exceptional. Thanks to his professionalism, helpfulness, and friendliness, he made an experience that I imagined could be complicated much easier, fun, and above all safe. We were a group of 7 people plus the guide and everything was organized to perfection. A special thanks also to Salim, who accompanied us with good, varied, and above all abundant food, from breakfast to dinner. During the safari we had the chance to see practically every type of animal (from giraffes to lions, passing through many other species). There was never a shortage of water, Coca-Cola, and fruit juices, which was really appreciated during the days in the park. I absolutely recommend this experience to everyone! I thank Anton, Salim, and the whole team from the bottom of my heart for the support, collaboration, and commitment they put into making this trip so special. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The safari was extremely well organized, and the communication before and during the trip was excellent. Our guide, Anthony, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and incredibly reliable. He did everything he could to make sure we saw as many animals as possible, and he made the whole experience truly unforgettable. We always felt safe and knew we could completely rely on him throughout the safari. The organization and reliability of Suricata Safari were outstanding. Everything was handled perfectly, and the experience was absolutely worth every dollar. A special mention also goes to our chef, Salim, who prepared delicious and authentic meals for us every day. The food was amazing and made the whole experience even more wonderful! We had an incredible time and saw so many amazing animals. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!
