She answered all of our questions promptly and guided us through every step of preparing not only for the safari itself but also for our trip to Tanzania. Thanks to her advice, we decided for 4-day tour in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro and were able to make the most of the experience with our children. The best part, however, began when we met our guide, Ringo. His passion and enthusiasm for wildlife are truly contagious. Thanks to his outstanding knowledge of the national parks and animal behavior we were able to see big five. But what more, Ringo went out of his way to make sure each of us got to spend time with our favorite animals, herds of hippos for our son, elephants for me. Ringo trully made every one of our safari wishes come true and was able to answer every question we and our kids had. Even though we were traveling with young children, we felt completely safe at all times. Both we and our kids enjoyed every single minute of the adventure. We had an incredible 4-day safari with Nkolo Tours, and it exceeded every expectation. Our guide, Jeff, was outstanding. He was always punctual, incredibly knowledgeable, and spoke great English, making the entire experience enjoyable and easy to follow. Jeff knew the Serengeti like the back of his hand. His experience and instincts consistently put us in the right place at the right time. We had amazing close-up sightings of lions, cheetahs, and leopards—experiences we'll never forget. He also got us remarkably close to rhinos in the Ngorongoro Crater, which was one of the highlights of the trip. Throughout the safari, Jeff was happy to answer our questions about the wildlife, the parks, and Tanzanian culture, and it was obvious he genuinely enjoys what he does. His ability to spot animals and anticipate where they would be made all the difference. If you're considering a safari in Tanzania, I highly recommend Nkolo Tours and especially Jeff as your guide. This was an incredible tour company! Vincent was our guide and he made this trip a once in a lifetime experience. He was so friendly and kind and funny, he made us feel like old friends. We saw AMAZING animals and scenery thanks to the knowledge Vincent had. The lunch was absolutely incredible, he even parked next to a herd of animals and we had lunch right next to them! It rained once on our trip and I was a bit nervous about the mud and descending into the crater, but Vincent was so safe and such a skilled driver we felt safe the entire time. I can’t say enough good things about this tour company. From the suggestions of places and lodges we stayed at, to the actual information given to us on the safari. We had an amazing time and I’m so grateful for this trip. When another safari company was having trouble with their vehicle, Vincent stopped to make sure they were okay. That was so nice to us. The company also surprised us with several nights celebrating our anniversary. We got so lucky and saw all the big 5 animals. We just have to come back to see the Cheetah! The best safari experience ever! We did private 4-days (3 nights) Tarangire-Serengeti(Ndutu)—Ngorongoro safari during calving season in Jan 2026 as a family. We saw plenty of various animals, including the whole Big 5. Some of them from few meters distance only, we observed them in their natural environment, even eating hunted victims. Communication with the owner was super easy and fast. Our private guide Jephter Makana was such a warm and positive person, very experienced and he put all possible effort to find animals we wanted to spot. Very welcoming and approachable while we needed help, or flexible while we had to adjust the time schedule. Going for a private tour with this company is absolutely worth it! They will take care of you from the beginning till the end. Airport/hotel transfer (pick up and drop off) was included which was a great bonus. Also our driver Martin who took care of us on the way back from safari to the hotel was super helpful, stopping on the way at the places that we asked. Moreover, accommodatoom at the resort and the campings was outstanding - glamorous, beautiful interiors in the middle of the wild! Perfect, unforgettable safari!

Our safari (4 days/3 nights Tarangire-Serengeti-Ngorongoro) was carefully planned by Mercy based on all our requests. To be honest, we really liked their program. The accommodations they chose for us were of a good standard and the service offered was in line with our travel philosophy... We want to have the right level of comfort, but without going overboard. The facilities gave us the right mix of hospitality, service, and food, and the tented camp was a fantastic experience. Goody, our guide, although young, is very reliable and an excellent driver. Our Jeep perfectly meets our standards of comfort.
