Ami was an amazing tour guide. She was super knowledgeable, kind and engaging. She catered to our varied interests and was always excited.
We had a great day with Armand…he met us at the cruise port on foot and off we went. There is a lot of walking on this tour, it was too much for some of the people we were traveling with, however, my husband and I enjoyed all the sites and felt we received a great overview of Osaka. Armand helped us navigate the subway system and made sure we were on the correct train to return us to the port. Great day!
Wonderful tour of Osaka. Kalid was the best guide. He took us to so many amazing places like tallest building, food market, kitchen market, Osaka castle and more. We learned a lot about the city and having a private guide was the best!!!
Khalid was an amazing tour guide in Osaka and made our first day in Japan such a great experience. We arrived by cruise ship at our first port, and it took much longer than expected to get off the ship and begin our tour. Khalid had no problem waiting for us and was very understanding. He adjusted the itinerary so we could still fit in a great day while making sure we were back in time before the cruise departed. I was able to make specific requests for things we wanted to see and do, but since it was our first time in Japan, I mostly left it up to him. He did a great job putting together a fun and memorable day, and it felt like we were able to experience Osaka without having to worry about the logistics. Khalid was also incredibly helpful when I wanted to buy custom Japanese knives. He knew exactly where to go and helped point me in the right direction, which made the experience even better. We had a great time and would definitely meet up with Khalid again on our next trip back to Japan. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, flexible, and friendly guide in Osaka!
We really enjoyed our walking tour with Antoine, though we definitely felt it the next day from all the steps! If you book this tour, be prepared for a good amount of walking. Antoine shared the history throughout our time together and did an excellent job answering all of our questions. It was also great getting to use the subway system—Osaka’s is especially efficient and easy to navigate. In just five hours, we were able to see so much, and we truly appreciated his time and expertise. I’d highly recommend this tour—just be ready to get plenty of steps in!
We had an amazing tour in Osaka with Hugo! He covered so many great places in a short time and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Hugo is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, and he shared so many interesting stories and insights along the way. We truly appreciated his professionalism and warm personality. Highly recommend Hugo to anyone visiting Osaka—he makes the city come alive!
Our experience with guide Hugo was particularly positive. He was present at the agreed pick-up location on time, so the day could start smoothly. The tour was completely private and used public transport (subway), which gave the whole thing an authentic character and at the same time was efficient to reach the sights. Hugo gave clear explanations of both the customs and peculiarities of Japan and the customs of the inhabitants. His knowledge was remarkably large and extensive. Hugo spoke very good English, which made communication particularly pleasant. A highlight was the typical Japanese lunch at a restaurant where many locals also ate – a unique experience that added authenticity. Finally, Hugo brought us safely and timely back to the cruise ship, allowing us to return with peace of mind.
Our guide, Hugo, was a champ - knowledgeable, courteous, flexible, and understanding our needs. He not only took us to the sites we wanted to see, but also filled us in on many unique aspects of Osaka.
Tour fully met our expectations, varied, fully organized according to our wishes, Hugo also gave one or the other insidertip.
Read the description wrong and didn’t realize this was a walking tour. However, our guide Hugo was great and we were able to see highlights of Osaka, including the castle and various entertainment districts. Our guide made it as easy as possible for the folks in our group that needed more time for the walk etc. He even recommended a fantastic place for dinner. Would do it again if everyone in our group was ok with walking :)
