Charmel was an amazing guide - aside from her knowledge of the history and venues, she also gave local inputs for tourists when asked. Thank you! Glad to have had a chance to see the famous landmarks in Cebu - Basilica de Sto Nino, Cathedral of Cebu, Cebu Monument, Magellans Cross and the Taoist Temple....just was not too interested in the oldest house - the Yap-San Diego House. It would also have been great to add the Temple of Leah to the itinerary. The weather was just a personal challenge because it was too hot for us (as should be expected during summer months). Suggestion: Maybe provide a free cold water bottle to provide relief?
This was a waste of money. The guide didn’t tell us anything about the places we visited. She just dropped us of and then we had to walk around looking for our self while she was sitting in the shadow on a chair. So it was definitely not a guided tour and it would have been a lot cheaper to just take a taxi and read about the places online - like we did anyways.
Thank you for the review, we're sad to know you felt that way. This is actually the first time that our tour coordinator received a negative feedback. We will have to re evaluate and train her to do better. The tour is packaged with a tour coordinator who will show you around the great sights of Cebu. Please let me know how to get in touch with you so we can offer you other tour/activity in Cebu. You may also reach me at sales@cebutriptours.com
Go to the museum instead! When traveling in Asia, I like to have a guide to show me around and tell me about the history. What I didn't know, is that in most museums in the Philippines there is a local guide (for FREE) that will show you around and will tell you about the history and museum. The driver was nice and the guide was knowledgeable, but they sit and talk among them and drove us to the temple and a museum, where the local guide from the museum showed us around and told us about the museum and the history. You can do this tour by yourself. Most museums are free or very cheap.
The selection of the historical sites is good and it's a wonderful experience to see those places in person and feel the history behind it. Our tour guide Ms. Leizel is very good!
We happened to be the only ones on the tour and it was great. This is such a hassle-free way to see all the main attractions of the city. Especially if you don't have a lot of time, I would highly recommend it.
Hello Samuel, Many thanks for the recommendation, happy to know you had a great time!
Excellent. .only short hours but covered all of it..CHEN is very polite and an excellent guide..plus photographer too..
Thanks for the excellent rating! Yes, we do have an excellent guide and photographer :)
We wanted to see a few of the historical sites, and this was perfect. We were a group of 10, and our guide Chen was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned quite a bit of history and had lots of opportunities for photos at each stop.

Great tour! Very informative! I wish they included Fort San Pedro though (it wasn’t advertised so that’s fair). Also, I wish they had better Souvenir shopping spots instead of the Island Souvenirs store. Otherwise, great tour of the city’s history!
