Pal Saruon, our guide, and Vireak, our driver, were absolutely fantastic! They were both incredibly friendly, helpful, and available for anything we needed throughout the entire experience. Pal was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly, while always giving us the right amount of time and space to enjoy the places we visited and take everything in at our own pace. He was also an excellent photographer and helped us capture some amazing memories! Vireak was also fantastic, always kind, professional, and ready to help whenever we needed him. We had a wonderful experience with both of them and would absolutely recommend Pal Saruon and Vireak to anyone visiting Cambodia. Thank you for making our trip so special!

Just back from six days/5 nights in Cambodia on a private tour through Journey Cambodia that was absolutely spectacular. My friend and I were in Phnom Penh for a day and a half and then in Siem Reap for the rest. The travel and hotel booking was seamless. Both hotels were in excellent locations in the heart of the tourist areas surrounded by good food and cute shops. The hotels were beautiful and included lavish breakfasts, a/c, pools, and wifi. We had spa treatments at the hotel in Phnom Penh for extremely affordable rates. The highlights of the troops were the people. Our guides were extraordinarily knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. It was clear that they had a deep passion for sharing their information with us and they answered all our questions about the sites and country and then some. The guides spoke excellent English--communication was flawless. They also had great suggestions for area restaurants, activities, and shopping. Our drivers were very accommodating and provided us with airport to hotel to sites transportation. When we wanted to add to or vary the itinerary,the staff made it happen. The time visiting temples in Siem Reap was perfectly curated to show us the special qualities and unique aspects of each of these magnificent structures. Our guide and driver in Siem Reap, Bun and Sam Baht, were THE BEST!!!!!! I highly recommend asking for them--they will ensure you have an amazing experience. A special bonus was the ice-cold face cloths provided by Sam Baht each time we got back in the van--immediately refreshing after being out in the sun. I'm so thankful to all the staff who made our Cambodian journey the trip of a lifetime.

Amazing tour. Bun our guide was excellent! He was extremely in knowledgeable. He gave great tips for food. Our driver Sambath always had cold towels and water. Highly recommend.

I’m very happy to recommend this tour operator and especially the services of Bun and Sam who provided us with a very caring, informative and fun 3 day adventure. Having only a short period in Siam Reap, this trip gave us a brilliant insight in to Cambodia which the children (8 & 10) and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed. Cambodia’s difficult history is still very present but we loved every aspect of the tour - the bikes, markets, farms, temples, restaurant choices, boat, crocodiles! The 440am start was worth it to see the Angkor wat sunrise and although we were sceptical about visiting Apopo’s rats - it was very interesting and inspiring to hear how Cambodia is slowly getting rid of the land mines that have blighted to country since the Vietnam and civil wars. Bun kept a close eye on us whilst giving us space too, which was spot on. Genuinely recommend.

Our family (2 kids age 8 and 10) have just had the most amazing 3-day tour of Siem Reap with Journey Cambodia, including Angkor Wat and jungle temples, cycling through the countryside to see local farms and markets, and boating through the floating village on Tonle Sao lake. Our lovely tour guide Bun was very knowledgeable, kind and great with the kids. Our driver Sambath was always ready with a cold towel and bottle of water when we got back to the van. Journey Cambodia tailored our tour around our flights and kids and we definitely made the most of our short time to experience so much and get a fantastic grounding of Siem Reap and the Cambodian way of life, which is so much more than just Angkor Wat. It is an amazing country with wonderful people and we’d all love to come back!

Highly recommend a tour with Journey Cambodia. Over our 3-days highlight tour, we not only saw amazing sights, we also learned about Cambodia’s religion, history, and people. Our guide, Bun, welcomed us with the most sincerity and answered our most random questions which made this more than just a tour. It felt more like a journey that we didn’t want to end. Also wanted to highlight that Dara, our driver, made sure we were well hydrated, comfortable and cool all throughout the trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better team. We plan to return for another visit with them in the future!

I was part of a group of families attending a post-competition trip to Cambodia. I really did not have many expectations going into the trip and was just happy to accompany as staff for the trip. From the very first bus ride though, our guide Bun was so welcoming and friendly that he really livened up the trip for each journey we had to various temples and the Tonle Sap region. On one of the journeys we had he recounted his life story growing up as a child under the Khmer Rouge regime. It was a powerful and moving testament. Along the way, Bun made us all feel as part of his family, and we all enjoyed being referred to as 'Bun's family'! Amazingly, we felt a pang of sadness at the end of the three-days for someone who was just a stranger to us 72 hours prior. I can not recommend enough Bun's service as a guide. Not to be forgotten was our terrific driver Dara who always had a warm greeting, cold towels, and water ready for us at each stop. Thanks for a truly incredible experience Bun and Dara!
