I booked this trip with a friend who was also doing Peru Hop. The sunset kayak was an amazing experience and we were the only people in the group! Our guide and host on the island were lovely, provided us with lots of explanations and I felt safe during the kayak. The wind was very strong on the way back which made the kayaking more strenuous than usual, but apparently the water is usually much calmer. It was worth it for the sunset over Lake Titicaca and our guide checked many times if we were doing okay. Despite the wind, we still made it back in good time. There were many birds too and we even saw flamingos fly right over us. I highly recommend if you want an alternative experience of the lake and islands!
We booked this kayak tour in the afternoon, because we did not have enough time, in reality this experience was excellent and we visited one of the Uros islands and the families were very friendly and happy, we felt at home, I recommend this experience.
We had a great time. Ronny spoke English very well and explained so much about the area, the Uros Islands and the people. The kayaking was also very tranquil and enjoyable, thru reeds and around the islands. It was also very nice to meet our Uros Island President - Bretsabe (misspelled I’m sure). She showed us what living there is like. Overall a great experience. Sunset was beautiful and Ronny had some extra clothes to keep us warm. In addition there was a support motor boat for our things. Thanks Ronny!
My wife and I booked a kayak tour in the afternoon, and our experience was excellent, very clear information from our guide, and we learned customs of the Uros island and many more things, recommendation for this tour, bring an extra jacket highly recommended
The best way to experience Lake Titicaca and the floating Islands of Uros. Our guide was wonderful and the equipment, perfect.
Excellent!! personalized service, we booked a kayak tour directly through WhatsApp, and our experience was wonderful and well organized, this is the tour that we liked the most, thanks to Ronny and Maria's family, recommended.
Ronald was a brilliant guide. It was so fun, informative and sunset on the lake was beautiful. Would definitely recommend. The information on Uros and ayemara was very interesting and told SO well!
Best experience by kayaking, we visited the islands of the Uros with a group of friends, our guide was very funny and explained to us about the AYMARA culture and their customs, and it was interesting, just recommend bringing an extra jacket 10000% recommended this kayak route.
Ronal was fantastic and very easy to reach out too, the price was reasonable and we had an awesome time learning about the Uros culture. Kayaks were in very good condition and the lunch at Uros was delicious and fresh!
I booked the same day via contacting the tour operator on WhatsApp. It was a fantastic trip. Stopping at Iris Island, got dressed up in local clothes. Very nice and colored gear to include a smash proof top, gloves, PFD, spray skirt. Ronny, my guide was from Urus islands, knowledgeable and shared information in fluent English. Many thanks
