I highly recommend Go Local Manatee tours with Pete and Derek. Our trip was awesome! We were able to swim with multiple manatees. Our guides took us to various locations and they were fun, respectful, considerate of the wildlife and provided an overall amazing value with the once-in-a-lifetime experience. Pics included with price were above and underwater. Book now! How close did the manatees get?A manatee swam under me and touched me. I had to freeze and not move and was perfectly safe as the guide reassured me through my slight panic. One even farted on my girlfriend. 😂 11/10 would recommend.

We had an amazing 3-hour manatee tour with Tommy and Bailey! They were absolutely phenomenal—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience unforgettable. They shared so much about the manatees, the local wildlife, and the history of the area, which made the tour both educational and fun. We also loved that they’re a local business. You can really tell they care about the community and providing a genuine experience, unlike many of the larger tour companies. They took their time, answered all of our questions, and made sure everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. It was an incredible experience from start to finish, and we can’t wait to come back!

My husband, son and I went on the early morning tour with Tommy and Bailey. They were borne welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and the animals within it. They gave us many manatee facts while we were looking for a place to drop in, and gave us clear directions on how to interact with the manatees while safely and ethically providing space for them in their environment. We really enjoyed both of our guides and the assistance provided, and we got to see a mama and baby manatee! I would 100% go back to Go Local again. It was very much small tour vibes and less stressful for the animals. We appreciate the respect and observation guidelines they gave us and had such a quiet and peaceful experience. Tommy also was helpful with a great breakfast recommendation (The Biscuit Barn! 10/10!). Thank you boys for such a wonderful time!

Wonderful, bucket list experience! We went into this knowing it wasn’t manatee season, but just hoping to get lucky. We were not disappointed, as they found us one to swim with right away. We were able to spend ample time with him, as this company keeps their groups small as to not overwhelm the manatee. Then after we had our time swimming along side him, they took us to the springs to snorkel. What a magical day! Their local knowledge and hospitality made all the difference. We will return in the winter for sure and would absolutely book through them.

Peter and Stephanie were amazing. They took the time to look for the right spot and wait for us. We managed to see the manatee really close. Then we went to the three sisters spring for almost one hour. They were great all the time. Good chat and good knowledge. We will book again in winter for the high season.

What a great experience! I swam with the manatees last year and had a great experience but wanted to try a different company. I’m so happy that I picked Go Local. Peter and Jessica were so welcoming. They grew up in the area and were a wealth of information. Even though this is off season, we found a manatee pretty much right away. Jessica was our in water guide and she was fabulous! Her love of manatees will make you love them too. She got great photos and they send them to you for free! We boated around and saw some other manatees and even a dolphin catching a fish. We then went to three sisters springs to swim and snorkel which was pretty cool. I would highly recommend this great local tour company! 10 out of 10

Be patient and have a blast. They provide goggle and wet suit if u want it. Tommy and Stefani are amazing and very knowledgeable about the area and all the animals.

very informative and welcoming! they guided us into the sister springs as well which wasn’t included in the tours. they went out of their way to show us the area and the local alligator! they also reached out to us to get us in earlier to avoid rush hour and have a high chance of seeing a manatee. they were right, as we were leaving others were coming in, so we got to see the manatees just our tour group initially. 10/10 recommendation.

The guides were great as well as the experience. Jessica and Pete made the 3 hour trip super fun and engaging. The fee was not bad but we got to go with just our family. Overall would recommend!

Our trip was amazing! Peter our captain and Jessica our guide were super knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see. We found 4 manatees, a dolphin, turtles and we even found an alligator. Thanks for the amazing family memories!!!
