9 canons que les artisans de Hue ont coulés la deuxième année de Gia Long (1803). Neuf canons sont considérés comme l'une des œuvres d'art en bronze les plus précieuses. Les neuf anciens canons étaient placés au pied de la citadelle impériale, à l'entrée de la porte Ngo Mon - la ville impériale de Hue. Pendant le règne du roi Khai Dinh, ils ont été déplacés à leur position actuelle.
Construit en 1833 dans le style vietnamien traditionnel sous le règne du roi Minh Mang et utilisé par les rois pour les mouvements de troupes et les cérémonies.
Un monument architectural de la dynastie Nguyen situé au milieu de la face sud de la citadelle de Hue dans la forteresse de Nam Chanh qui est également l'endroit où accrocher le drapeau de la cour royale.
Ce palais est situé dans le quartier de la ville impériale de la citadelle de Hue, qui est le lieu de couronnement de 13 rois Nguyen de Gia Long à Bao Dai. Dans les régimes féodaux, ce palais était considéré comme le centre du pays.
Il s'agit de neuf urnes en bronze, situées devant le temple Mieu dans la citadelle impériale de Hue. Les Nine Peaks ont été commandés par l'empereur Minh Mang à l'hiver 1835 et inaugurés le 1er mars 1837.
Le Mieu aussi appelé To Mieu construit en 1821 par les Seconds Rois de la Dynastie Nguyen – Minh Mang. C'est un temple pour adorer 10 rois de la dynastie Nguyen.
Dans cette partie, nous admirerons la résidence de la mère de l'Empereur, la Bibliothèque Royale, le Lac Royal, le Jardin Royal ainsi que le Théâtre Royal.
La Cité Pourpre Interdite appartient à un complexe de l'ancienne capitale de Hue, qui est le centre de la vie quotidienne des rois, de leurs reines, des épouses mineures et des cocubines des empereurs Nguyen. La Cité Interdite est située derrière le palais Thai Hoa, a été construit par le roi Gia Long (1804). Au cours de la troisième année du règne de Minh Mang (1822), le roi changea le nom en Forbidden Purple City.

Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. A well paced tour with lots of insight into the history
We had Thanh as our tour guide and she was incredible! This walking tour was the best way to see the Imperial city, we started at 7am to avoid the heat of the day. Thanh had incredible knowledge and such impressive language skills to be able to answer all of our questions, she didn't miss a detail, from the tiniest pieces of mosaic artwork to the large gates and thrown. Thanh told us about the history of Vietnam as well as the Kings of Hue and the impact of the wars on the city and buildings. We went around all of the important buildings in a logical way and didn't even notice the walking! We would highly recommend this tour, especially Thanh!
